TAKING YEAST TABLETS AND HAVING DISCHARGE.
Please am having sight problem so Dr recommends yeast, Vitamin A and cord liver oil cap for me,meanwhile I bought those drugs from a very good pharmacy, though I don't really like taking drugs so instead of taking the yeast 20 tablets per day I usually take them one capsule each twice a day, so last week sunday a friend of mine visits my house and said that I should follow the instruction which I did but noticed that after like 30minutes later I started having discharge from my private part (p***y) .
I was very scared because I know I don't use toilet nor share mine any how, so how come? It was coming big as if I pee-d in my pants! I was getting ready to see a Dr before I heard a voice saying " why not touch it and see how it smells" so I did but noticed that it wasn't giving me a bad odour instead it was given me same drugs odour I was using so I stopped using the drugs and the discharge
stopped, I resumed back on friday the discharge started so I stopped it this night the discharge stopped again, so please I want to hear
Dr's in the house advise or have any one encountered such before.

please help me and post this. Late last year,I started noticing some changes in my body*Virginia * anything my period wants to come out, like one week before the flow,I will start having serious itching and discharge from my Virginia. I went for a test and d lab tech.said it was candida,I started treatment both with tablet and injection all to no avail. Its now a norm that I stay on drugs all the time.
Tho it doesn't smell but I am loosing my confidence as a lady. I have no partner as to say where its coming from and I don't have cash anymore to continue with the treatment because i have no job and i dont know who to ask for before i will be turned into a laughing stock,so I decided to be taking *agbo*still there is no change.
Please doctors in the house,any advice,or even if you can treat me,I will gladly appreciate.

DeleteI use d word mild and asymptomatic because we've all got a lil amount of yeast in the vaginal acting as a normal flora and this only gets to be symptomatic when the normal commensals are being distorted or d yeast flora becoming in excess than that judged safe for the vagina and in your case,its likely that d yeast medication you are taking is distorting d normal yeast volume in ur vagina hence increasing the volume and as such an inbalance between the normal and the abnormal hence the discharge.
Taper down on the drugs you r taking cos there seem to be a synergistic effect
Poster 2---seems to me like a case of cyclic vulvovaginitis although bearing in mind that it's normal for some.
Most ladies experience itching days b4 d commencement of their flow with the itch subsiding on/after their menstrual flow.
It only becomes abnormal when

DeleteGo see a doctor for some test and an 4an antifungal drug to be prescribed.
Mind you your hygiene comes into play,u gotta make sure you clean above and down below if not no matter d drug u take, it would just be a waste.
A lactobacillus acidophilus tablet would prolly be given to you aswell.
In summary,u both should go see a doctor

N1 see ur doctor, explain to him d outcome of d drug he prescribed for u n follow his instruction. Get well soon. N2, yeast infection is always very stubborn to treat, go back to d lab, carry out anoda test n see how it goes b4 any oda medication to avoid stories dt touches d heart.

Poster 1, I tink it's d yeast ur taking o. Probably there is an imbalance between the friendly bacteria and yeast in your privates and therefore the discharge.

Since u said u have candida which is a fungi infection, u shld try ur best to minimize ur intake of sweet food including the almighty carbohydrate which is like a stable food hre in Nigeria. Try takin more fruits n veggies and also u shld try garlic..either tablet or fresh which is a good anti fungi and anti bacteria. U could also try live yogurts. Hope this helps.

Poster 1- stop the yeast. Go meet an optometrist or ophthalmologist for your eye problem. I bet a GP prescribed those drugs you have been taking. Go c an eye specialist!

ReplyDeletePoster 2,I know what you are going through, you need serious hygiene dear cos av gone through this before.you need to either change your panties or always wash with dettol then sundry. You need to always wash your vagina with clean water and possible disinfect the water with dettol ,then use the drugs prescribed to you by your doctor.
ReplyDeleteBV whose hubby has low sperm count....I assume this was diagonized from a hospital.....tell him you want to discuss the matter and if he refuses you will tell his family...am saying this because I assume you must have tried your best to discuss if severally before this your post....he is being selfish and am sure his family will be putting the blame on you like most typical Africans....it's not easy for a man to accept their inability to father a child but you guys have to move on and you can't keep waiting...he needs to start treatment ASAP...don't go outside till you have done your best and left the marriage....
