Obasanjo's Direct Message Condemning Xenophobia And A Message To South African's President

The Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasonjo was at the Texas Southern University (TSU) in Houston, Texas on April 25, 2015 to give a special lecture on the political and economic situation in Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.

During the QA session, OBJ was asked about his views on the recent Xenophobia crisis in South Africa, which has widely impacted Nigerian’s and other Africans in SA. In his closing remarks, the former president ‘Olusegun Obasanjo‘ said:

“South Africa is one of the most developed country in Africa, and South Africa will continue to be one of the leading or leaders of Africa as a country.
If any country which is a leader or one of the leaders of Africa cannot accommodate other African’s on their soil, then they don’t de.. deserve to be a leader.”

After listening to Obasanjo talk,I now understand why this man is considered very powerful in the eyes of world leaders.

His message nailed it for me!

Just like R. Mugabe said "it is only in South Africa that a village man will think that a qualified medical doctor from another country is the cause of his unemployment".
