Umahi Denies Boko Haram Report On Anambra Prisoners

Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi has denied report crediting him as having said that the boko haram detainees transferred to Anambra state had been moved to Abuja.

"What I said was that 'traders have a
right to protest but there is no need for the protest because the South East governors have told the federal government not to relocate boko haram prisoners to the south east and I think the federal government is doing something about it,"Umahi stated on Friday.

    1. I don't even understand. Can the federal government find a location and build a secured prison for their sake? Instead of all these back and forth. I dont get it.

  6. Politicians! They speak from two sides of the mouth. Please let other governors speak on behalf of the South East. In a pecking order order, according to the level of developments in their respective states. Obiano, followed by Ukwuanyi [although the credit should go to Sullivan] then the talkative, Parrot Okorocha. Governors like Umahi of Ebonyi and Okezie of Abia have a lot to do in their states. In terms of development and dividends of democracy, they are the most backward. Abakaliki town is like Enugu in the 70s while Umuahia and Aba look like resettlement camp for Internally Displaced Persons.

Okezie has hit the ground running while Umahi is discussing relocation of Boko Haram. There is so much to do your Excellency. Please hit the ground running in Ebonyi and make a name for your self. Those who voted for you are not asking for too much. Just the basic things of life and you'll be carried shoulder high.

    Ugochukwu.
