  1. Finally his baby mama can now rest.
Marrying a boss lady is not easy, imagine your own wife asking you to pack out 🀣 even with that he still covered up by appearing with her at AMVCA as if nothing happened and then after the show everybody move front.
In Ebuka's voice, good luck to all of you

    1. That woman just wanted justice for her son. She is equally married and has grown kids for her husband, so i doubt she cant marry JJC and marry 2 men.

    4. But what exactly did his baby mama gain now? Nothing. The home the son had, quality education and the freebies he was getting from Jennifer will be withdrawn with the breakdown of the marriage. It's better to stoop to conquer than destroy one of your eye just to make your enemy blind. I wish all of them the best...

    5. We need to learn to be objective.

Let people learn to take responsibility for their part in issues. An outsider can't drive a family vehicle if one partner doesn't hand the keys over.

Too many tales of Funke 's not so great "inside character".

    6. Marrying a cheat as a husband can be exhausting even when you have all the money, that is disrespectful in many ways especially when you are contributing your everything you have a great marriage.

They were building a partnership, at home, business wise and a family, men stop taking your homes for granted with the excuse of being polygamous in nature, not every woman will take that rubbish.

I believe in partnership and having a partner who isn’t trust worthy is disheartening.
He claims she doesn’t want to sit for for a discussion but you dint tell us what you did to her to make her that angry.

  7. Nothing is happening in the entertainment industry, we hear about them because they are always in our faces. Last month 4 people divorced in my area and 2 people separated in my church. What are we talking about people don’t regard marriages again, some want to have children and move on. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

    1. What is happening is that women are no longer ready to take rubbish anymore and men are not ready to change and leave cheating alone.

Even a broke man that should be spending his time making money will still be cheating up and down.

A woman who is contributing to the success of her home will not take that rubbish.

Men want the respect their grandfathers had from their grandmothers but are not willing to take up the responsibility of their grandfathers.
A woman who works like you, comes home and cooks for you then you want to cheat and live like a single man( eating your cake and having it) not every woman will take it.
This is the major reason why marriages are not working. When people are ready to be honest with each other… then marriage will work.
An example is the chronicle of yesterday, when that woman packs and leave, the man will claim the woman lacks regard for marriage, yet he wasn’t present to make his home work.

  20. I used to wonder why couples divorce when I was single! I fasted and prayed that God will give me a Godly, compatible and wonderful man to marry. I prophesied that I will never be a divorcee, that my marriage will be heaven on earth. Many years later, I met a brother in school. He was a fervent Christian, a born again. I prayed and accepted his marriage proposal. We had a Godly Christian relationship for 6years before finally settling down. Everyone in our city was happy that I got a born again Christian. Pastors and prophets prophesied that we are meant to be, that our marriage will be a model for Christian couples. We both were excited that we found each other. Our first night was heavenly aas we both were virgins. Two months into our marriage our union began showing cracks. He wasn't who he said he was. He hates responsibilities, was never accountable and left all bills to me. If I ever pleaded for him to pay just one bill, he will pounce on me. I became a shadow of myself. I kept on fasting and praying but things became worst. My parents and siblings advised me to stay as they do not want me to bring shame into our family by divorcing my husband. One day my neighbour met my Uncle and told him what I was going through. My Uncle who never knew where my house is, went straight to the police station. I heard a knock on my door and when I opened it, i saw my Uncle with two policemen.🀣. Luckily my hubby was home. My Uncle asked me to pack my luggage as he wouldn't allow that useless man to kill me because of marriage. When I protested, my Uncle asked police to arrest me because he thinks I have mental illness. Neighbours came out in support of my Uncle. They bundled me and hubby to police station. Hubby signed that he will never beat me again or threatened my life. From there Uncle dragged me to my parents house and told them that he has brought me home alive and that if my dad or anyone in the family sends me away or mock me, that he will personally deal with them. 7years of emotional, physical and financial violence was abruptly brought to an end by my Uncle 4 years post divorce and I am healed. After the death of Osinachi, my family called my Uncle to appreciate him for saving my life.

We may never know the true reason but I have some postulations.

      1. She didn’t hear clearly from God and married someone who seemed to be born again but doesn’t ALLOW the word of God to cleanse his soul and not in tune with the Holy Spirit. You see self righteous people? Run.
They don’t hear anybody a voice including that of the Holy Spirit

      2. They were meant to be but they got married without dealing with baggages.
It’s obvious that man has trauma that he has to deal with and is expressing it by the beating her and meaning mean to her.
I will always say that marrying someone who wants the marriage to work and is intentional and calls themselves out even though you didn’t hear from God is 100x better than marrying someone you saw in a vision that refuses to accept responsibility. God forbid.
That God asked you to Marry someone doesn’t mean there’s no work to be done oh.

As per number 1, a lot of people think they heard from God, but didn’t
I was so sure my ex was my husband but everyday I think of him and lift up my hands, my head, my heart in sincere adoration to God that I didn’t marry him and married the person I married
I was so sure then oh
Apparently that wasn’t Gods best for me

Also note that there is not ONE person in this world for you to marry
There are people that you can marry. Has to do with personality and alignment and also getting clearance from God.

ITS obvious she saw the red flags but assumed that being born again would handle it. It doesn’t oh
Born again with closed ear or heart is worse than an unbeliever that introspects and has conscience even though I wouldn’t advise the latter

      Don’t speak for me

I started by saying that we may never know the true reasons.
      And gave some postulations

Also when you hear from God, you will know. If it isn’t working out, you go back to the one who sent you and ask him questions. That’s a relationship.

So if you’re the type of person that is religious, I dash you that. Don’t place that on me.

Note the story of Paul and Silas in the bible. God Himself separated them to work for Him(Acts 13:2), they worked together, to the glory of God until chapter 15 towards the end when they had a serious argument and they both decided to part ways (Acts 15:36-42).
Now God brought them together, but their personal differences got in the way and they separated and ended up with different partners.
Same thing happens in marriages, God may have spoken but what about the people spoken about? How much effort are they putting into making the relationship work?

    3. They work together so it is only fair they share profit eg 60:40, 50:50 or whatever percentage. JJC can sort out his children with his and that is not to say Funke cannot support from time to time.
There will always be conflict if they do not sort out their finances.

    5. Women want 50/50 when it's the man making the money. But when it's the woman making money - they want 100/0. Yet you all want equality. Whatever is good for goose is good for gander.

I can just see the hypocrisy of women. @Dante - I can see why you are so passionate about liberating men. WOmen are 100% hypocrites. They only want equality when it suits them. See how they are rubbishing JJC because they think Funke has money.

What many of them fail to understand is that JJC was a successful media personality in the UK before he moved back to Nigeria. JJC even worked for the BBC at some point. I know this because I lived in the UK.

But thanks all for the lessons you have shared based on your posts. It's evident - no man should ever give their power to a woman. If you do - they will trample upon it and useless it.

    6. I think she was fine with splitting until he started to dip I to her own cut and empty out their accounts as the stepson claimed. It's painful when you did the brain work and someone else just uses it to maintain an image, financing other women and on children they don't share.

  27. Oh dear, JJC and Funke, whatta gwan? Both of you should take a break from each other for now. There is still room for reconciliation if both of you are willing to talk things over and forgive each other.

    Funke be calming down oh.

I am still rooting for you guys.

  28. Funke no be maga after all for all those who said she was simping for marriage sake. And for those who claim she is "toxic, mean and difficult", best believe she'd remarry again if she feels like it. Remember that her first husband "is" a billionaire and she walked too. No time.

I see a woman who accepted her man with his extra luggage, spent her hard earned money to make the man and his kids as comfortable as possible, housed them, fed them, sent (at least one) to a reputable school chauffeur-driven, included her man in her business, refused to smear him or his son/baby mama even in the face of gross provocation (involving her kids), being consistently hardworking,
minding her business and moving on with dignity.

If that is what "mean and toxic" is, then Funke should be inducted into a hall of fame. This marriage has run its course and I hope they find ways to co-parent in peace. Bello should take his grievances if any to court and not attempt to mess with this woman on the internet. God's wisdom on both of them. I hope his son and her mama are satisfied now.

    7. What makes you think she can easily Remarry? Well it depends on the quality of men she may meet. She is not even anywhere pretty. This JJC is probably the bester man that ever made a move on her and she couldn't resist. A lot of gorgeous rich women you see have no real man coming for them not to talk of a woman who is not attractive like Akindele. Every Tom Dick and Harry back home in Nigeria is called a Billionaire, you referring to here first ex husband as a Billionaire is so laughable, Really? Even the Funke may not be as rich as you all claim on social media. A lot of these people are living to get by. I just hope she was able to get a British citizenship from this guy, that is the greatest, I hope he did not bail on giving her that.

  39. I find the assumption that Funke is richer than JJC Skillz ignorant & based on the narrow world view of many uninformed Nigerians. Thankfully the documentary on “Afrobeat” by Sonaiya is out on Netflix & the episode that about JJC Skillz role in the history of Afrobeat mentioned that he was the first Nigerian or UK black man to make £1million, as in one million pounds in the late 2000s when Funke was still trying to build her “jenifa” brand! The trash talking of the westernized man who due to his socialization did not see the big deal in moving in with his wife or joining her business is disturbing to some of us who didn’t pick only accent & SM flaunting from living here. He had more money than she could dream of king before they met. Why do you think this baby mama & her son are so obsessed with him? It’s about £. They know about his status in the Uk more than many excluding Dbanj, Don Jazzy, D1, Kenny Ogungbe, Kwam 1’s former manager etc. I watched “TVC your view” today, Yeni Kuti was trying to debunk it but Morayo shut her down as she does with her ignorant views. JJC Skillz was big in the UK. He topped the hip hop 100 charts way before anyone you know now! Funke has money but this man who is a genius contributed in no small way to her wealth in the last 7 years they have been together.

A man or woman with an unforgiving spirit has no business getting married as forgiveness is only secondary to love in a happy marriage. Apart from serial adultery, DV & deception into marrying an impotent man, there should be no red lines in a good marriage. Funke is quoted as calling him “very forgiving” & herself the opposite. “ “She who must be obeyed” is not a good slogan for anybody man or woman as only God should be in that space.

The other misinformation going around is that he was married to the “low budget oyinbo” woman whose mannerless kid put the final nail on their marital coffin. He has never been married though he has a lot of baby mamas as an early achiever in music, it is Funke that has married twice & has committed adultery with Femi Adebayo while that one was married to his 1st wife to the point of contributing to her marital break up. The army of pseudo feminists urging her on because “she has more money” & he cheated, which she reportedly also did is not new in Nigeria. She is not exactly a spring chicken as she admitted & not a Ms Nigeria in looks (I’m not body shaming her, it’s a fact) so she can have fun asking him to leave & ghosting him for 3 months while he seemed repentant & willing to reconcile. She will regret it later especially if she doesn’t find that kind of love again. Bad advisers, ego, pride, “ojuorolari”, unforgiveness are bad ingredients in marriage & she won’t be the first to be richer even if she was, than her man. With her reportedly terrible temper, rude persona, she will find out how fickle many of her friendships are & hopefully change her mind before it’s too late. JJC Skillz has a lot of blame too based on reports. He has had his fill of women as a young successful musician in the Uk, why on earth is it hard to stay committed to a woman for him? Why did he not discuss (I didn’t say take permission) with his wife before taking a huge sum from jointly owned money (not hers alone) to get a place for the kids that frankly are not Funke’s responsibility were it not for marriage? I hope they do not proceed to divorce, that love & forgiveness prevail. I loved them together but pls watch the Netflix documentary on afrobeats. Everyone talking down on the genius early achiever as if he is a poor or a lazy gigolo is unfair to him & annoying to those of us old enough to know better. Those hailing Funke for sending him out of their matrimonial home shouldn’t criticize the stupid Naija men who send their wives packing or women in the diaspora who do the same to misbehaving men.
