ReplyDeleteWell I guess her advice is not everyone, there is no shame in being divorced, neither is there any shame in being married. Let those who want to die in a toxic marriage remain, and those who want to be free, seek their freedom. At the end of it all, we all shall return to dust.
DeleteMisery loves company. They always celebrate when another marriage crashes, cannot hesitate to jump online to spill copy and paste. You will not see them to discuss insecurity and inflation in the country.
DeleteI never believed it, I had a divorced friend who went through a lot during divorce, how my husband and I went out of our way to help her and her kids regain independence and financial security, you need to see how my husband stood for her like a brother, spent his money and time. Fast forward, a few years later, this lady was going out of her to black list my husband, lies, deceit and cooking up things that never happened. This really strained our marriage and almost led to a separation, when she was found out, she had no remorse, says all men are useless and women are better off single. Said she hated my husband because he has similar physical features as her ex.
Again, after that friend, I saw the same pattern in 2 other friends and my own sister.
All these women were once sweet, loving and caring, they all changed and turned into people I do not recognize after divorce. Very bitter,negative, evil, never had anything good to say especially when it involves men. They turn into men haters after going through divorce and have set out to destroy all men, some of them see their ex in every man they encounter. One of them even confessed to me that her greatest wish in life is to see all men suffer and if possible killed, that no man deserves to be happy. She had nothing to say when I reminded her of her young sons.
I even advised some to go for therapy but they will hear of it.
Since then for my sanity, I did what I always thought was stupid, avoid divorced women like the plague. Some of them go through damaging trauma that can consume and destroy them and things around them.
I know a lot of them still retain their loving nature but after my experience, I do not have the strength to find out. I just pray for them from a distance.
for a psychologist who knows the process of abuse Victoria is very harsh and judgemental and insults the victim like a regular blog visitor..very unprofessional and shameful ..you will never see areal one bring harsh and insulting
