SOME TRUTH ABOUT WOMEN?

1. Women don't love with their hearts. They love with their heads. Their love is nothing but calculation and self-interest. For them, a man is not an end but a means to an ideal. For example: escaping singlehood, poverty, lack, finding a job, etc. You're just a pawn.

2. No matter what you've done for a woman, she will only remember two things: what you didn't do and the "harm" you did to her. This is why a woman you buy a phone for can easily leave you or cheat on you with someone who gave her money. You buy her a car, and she cheats on you with someone who changed her tires or bought her gas.

3. Women are hypergamous. They have no attraction to a man they "outshine." Always invest in yourself, your looks, your education, your plans. Because a woman won't hesitate to leave you if she finds someone better than you. A man goes to Europe. There's an 80% chance he'll stay with his sweetheart. If it's the woman who goes, the relationship is irrevocably over. A man is admitted to the magistrate's exam. He can always marry his illiterate girlfriend. If it's the woman who passes, the boyfriend's fate is sealed.

4. A woman is a metaphor for the absurd. She can leave her husband because of infidelity and enter into a relationship with a legally married man to become a mistress. She can leave a man who scolds her for a guy who beats her.

5. A woman's regret is nothing but hypocrisy. Women only feel remorse when their choices haven't worked out. That's why you should never accept a woman who left you and then comes back. She doesn't come back because she loves you. But because she hasn't found anything better elsewhere.

6. Women excel in the art of manipulation. When there's disagreement between you and your partner, they can make you look obsessed, irresponsible, or insane just to make people feel sorry for them and agree with them. To do this, they won't hesitate to shed torrents of tears, if necessary, to make themselves look like the poor victim of a psychopath.

7. Women are always uncompromising about their worth. As long as they're fresh, beautiful, and young, they'll never want a broke guy. They want someone handsome, strong, and rich. But as soon as they hit their thirties and start to lose their cool, usually with a child with an irresponsible father and sagging breasts, that's when they start looking for love. This is where you hear the famous phrase: "Love is the heart." The truth is, she has nothing left to offer.

8. You will never replace a woman's parents. You can pay for her education, classes, training, find her a job while her biological parents are there, without lifting a finger. But as soon as she sees the light at the end of the tunnel, and a disagreement arises with her or her family, she won't hesitate to dump you. With the complicity of her parents. This is where you hear the legendary phrase: "They are my parents. They're the ones who brought me into this world."

9. Women are unpredictable. You can live with a woman for 20 years without ever knowing her until the day you get sick, or you die, or she gets a job. That's when she shows her true colors to you or your family.

10. Women are the embodiment of ingratitude and lack of appreciation. No matter how much you pay the rent, the bills, the utilities, and take care of her without flinching, she'll only ever remember them as trivial acts. But the day she buys a needle in the house, the whole world will know. She'll remind you of it all your life.

Note: Exceptions (good women) exist. The only problem is finding them.

Dads Need Support Too

He’s the one who shows up.
He’s carrying the stro-ller, fixing the toys, playing superhero — and still trying to hold it all together.
But who’s checking in on him?

Just because he doesn’t say it, doesn’t mean he’s not tired.
Just because he’s providing, doesn’t mean he’s not strug-gling.
Just because he’s a dad, doesn’t mean he doesn’t need care too.

Dads feel the pressure.
Dads feel the stress.
Dads fi-ght silent bat-tles.

Let’s normalize asking the fathers in our lives: “How are you really doing?”
“What do you need today?”

Men-tal health isn’t a “mom thing” — it’s a parent thing.

  1. Learning to disappoint people when necessary is essential to your emotional health and authentic living. You can't please everyone.

It's a sign of self-respect to say "no" when their request doesn't align with your well-being.

The right people will understand and stay. The rest will fade away to make room for deeper, more aligned connections😊

I'm not even joking guys, the last one I used not too long ago, gave me burns. And now, I've stuck to my shaving stick.

First off, I don't like the smell it produces after washing it off. It gives me anxiety.

Secondly, the chemicals in it are overly concentrated. It could pass through our skin pores and cause a whole lot of damages. I don't consider it safe for the human skin.
I sat down and advised myself after it irritated my skin. Come to think of it, often times, fast solutions lead to long term problems. Something that starts detaching hairs from the skin almost immediately you apply it. This explanation is for Sandra and Ada Oluchi. AO ma'am, please use shaving stick for your baby girl. Her skin is way too tender to be introduced to such caustic product. After shaving, you can just help her apply little clotrimazole cream, to avert bumps.

Stella Maris baby girl, I don't doubt you. Different strokes for different folks. I'm glad most of you saw reasons with me.

  14. I've finally seen the most talked-about movie of the year, 'Straw'. It's been a while since I've watched Tyler Perry productions because of how he brings out emotional vulnerability in his movies. Most of Tyler Perry's movies lean heavily on trauma, except for the Madea sequels, which are largely comedic. For me, I think there's a need for balance in storytelling; a story shouldn't be too much of a fairytale, but the trauma shouldn't be overwhelming either.

Let me share my opinions on 'Straw'.
    1. Taraji P. Henson is indeed a true actress. She fully embodies her roles, making it difficult to distinguish between her character's reality and her own.

    2. Unlike many others, I found most part of the movie amusing rather than emotionally touching. The scene where she's waving a gun and questioning the bank manager about the cashiers' reactions was particularly humorous. It's unrealistic to expect someone to remain calm in the face of a gun. This had me in hysterics
The scene where she tries to shut down her daughter's science project, which is mistaken for a bomb, had me laughing out loud. The characters' expressions were hilarious and left me in stitches.

    3. I believe the plot aims to showcase the devastating impact of grief, particularly when it stems from a place of loss and helplessness. Despite her efforts to make things right, the outcome is ultimately futile, leading to overwhelming and intense grief.
    4. I don't think she had schizophrenia. If she did, her reaction to the news of her daughter's death might have been different. Instead, her temporary hallucinations seemed like a coping mechanism for her overwhelming grief, where she replayed fond memories and moments with her daughter.

    5. I'd say it's an average movie, not outstanding, but not terrible either. It just exists. A 5/10 rating seems fitting. It's a fair assessment of a decent but unremarkable film.

Y'all enjoy the rest of the day 😘😘😘

    1. Thanks Omo T....I completely agree with you....The same rating you gave is also same 5/10....And yes she had a grief induced psychosis not schizophrenia.....

    6. Just watched too,. I'll say it's fair. I rolled my eyes at some scenes and almost cried 3 times. Not a waste of time, no wow effect either.

      Delete
    7. I have an indifferent opinion on this. I think it's okay if a film maker decides to focus on a genre. Our childhood and even adult experiences usually shape what we have passion for. Tyler Perry obviously wants to be known for such genre and it's okay. I get your point on the need to balance the stories though.

I tried not to cry while watching 'Straw', but caught myself shedding just a few tears sha.

Sandra, thanks. Tyler Perry expertise na to make people cryπŸ˜‚. I value my mental health too much to indulge in traumatic movies.

Adunni, thanks 😊. You can check it out too. Who knows, it may actually suit your taste.

Anon, you're welcome. Trust me, Fidel is not a bad person.

  16. True @ To win in life, let go of your ego.

So yesterday's Father's day got my dad so emotional, We sent individual messages and gifts, our status was filled with his pictures, with lovely messages, even some things my dad did has a father which he has forgotten was included, in the family group we were just reminiscing the great experience, exposure my dad gave us, he was so happy and showering prayers as if we gave him millions ...my father is indeed a Father.

The funny thing about yesterday was when I was composing a certain message, I wrote that my father cannot be replaced, my son was close by, then he asked, my father nko? I said I don't know oooo.
He replied when you are done with your phone, please, let me send my dad a message tooπŸ˜„ when he was composing his own, he wrote, my father is the greatest Dad ever and irreplaceable, infact the accolades and he also sent him a token of #500 from his savings, sent same to my dad and his uncle.
His dad was so happy about the message and small change.

Later in the day, my son said, mom wait ooo, nobody sent me a happy Father's day message, that after all he is a male child....I bursted out laughing, I now explained to him that there is a boy child's day, he said he has never heard because they only celebrate the girl child's day in his school... We sha talk alot about the boy child and next year I hope to celebrate that day for him by God's grace.

Our boys and Men needs to be celebrated at all times too.

But only flights cos alone don pass over 1m because of the dollar rate against the dead naira that they're still harassing innocent people for it's 'abuse'.. can you abuse an already abused entity? Can you shame the shameless? What is dead may never d!e.. E don d!e,. O ti lor..

Got me thinking years back, I think in 2016, when I was with 2 of my big Bros like that and they were 'arguing' about going vacay in SA, the younger one was telling the older one to hold his own 1m naira, say him no go give am anything from him own money.. asin na just 1m dem dey budget to use go SA go ball.. but look at thing now,. Big money no value.. okay, let's say I want to use 1m to vacay now, where I fit go? Suggestions abeg if you have any ..

    SOME TRUTH ABOUT WOMEN

    Lol.. No lies detected

    1. ✅
    2. While men keep records of friendly conversations as proof in case they are accused of rape or abuse, women keep records of nasty incidents as proof in case they need to blackmail you. or fix you. All the good you do doesn't matter, she's there skimming and planning on how she can "grab you by the balls" when the time comes.
    3. Lagos to Akure is long distance relationship but Lagos to Canada is very short 😁. They know what they're doing.

    5. Women rarely leave a relationship unless they're already in another one. This is why you see them still with an abuser faking, lying and giving excuses of why they're still managing him.. na l!e.. them never see who them feel say e dey better, especially if the abuser gets funds. They'll rather cry in a lambo than smile in Uber.
    6. Manipulations. It happens here too. Imagine trying to shame a man from responding when insulted, saying stuff like "na man be this?".. you wey dey insult and fight for no reason, na woman you sef be? Amotekun werey
    7. Lol. I have a lot to say about it but I'll just keep it brief. When a man makes money, he thinks he needs to get married. You hear stuff like, "you don make money, find one girl marry" in other words, he should pick up one girl's (liability) responsibility and start funding. A Manipulated Man. But just see what happens when a girl makes money. You are dated a girl who was living with her parent and all she's concerned about is marriage, always visiting you, spending time at your place blah blah blah,. Bobo just make that babe rent house.. You Will Be Shocked πŸ˜‚.. you see that your house, you go beg and bribe am to visit. That's when you'll realise she was only using you and your shelter for her comfort and space. But you'll only realise this if you're a smart guy, cos she'll be giving you excuses of why she can't come or gaslight you to pick a quarell with her so it would seem like the reason why she stopped coming. To be on the safe side,. Hustle and grind. Live good and well, no matter what, they'll always be the one stressing to visit cos oga na father😁. It's old women that are always "in love", when they were in their prime they no dey hear word, that time na hot hot, as per na she dey hot, now you as a guy you don reach your prime which comes later,. Then you are stvpidly manipulated to marry one old corn who you neither enjoyed her prime nor stick with you when you were coming up. You no wise. Enjoy your prime too, pick a younger chic which is in her prime too like you or a older chic if value and worth, who is also bringing something tangible to the table you set up.
    8. ✅
    9. ✅
    10. ✅

Nah.. I won't give any exception unlike the poster, cos when you do, all of them go dey lie to themselves that they're the exception πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

How is Stella a celeb? How many Nigerians know her apart from the celebs that she collects money from and writes good things about them or those that don't give her money and she writes negative things about them and a tiny quarter of Nigerians which are the blog visitors?
If I mention her name in my house, as in my whole big compound like this, they will be asking that which type of name is that? They don't know her. But if you mention a real celeb here , at least one to two people will know the name.
Even Yul Edochie's daughter is more popular than Stella.
