MohbadGATE - WhatsApp Group Members Speak Out After Accusation By Activist VDM

Several individuals who were named by VeryDarkMan as members of a WhatsApp group allegedly created to manipulate the narrative surrounding Singer Mohbad’s death have begun to speak up in response to these accusations.

She said:

When I started justice for Mohbad I stated that I couldn’t fight the battle alone and I called on everyone to join, two groups were formed: one for a peaceful walk and another “concerned citizens” for those who still wanted to be part of the movement after the walk was cancelled. The group’s objective was to get justice for Mohbad not to get VDM arrested. You were arrested for defamation not seeking for justice. Many links on social media were posted in the group so if one link is related to your gory past, how does it link any individual to your social media entanglements? Regarding your arrest I was involved in the first petition against you for defamation, but you weren’t arrested then you were invited and left the same day. I didn’t follow it up because Paulo asked me to drop it.

In the second petition, my name was included as witness due to numerous false accusations. Our aim in the group was exhumation, investigation, enquiry and befitting burial. We agreed that Mohbad’s catalog and royalties should be handed to his family. Nothing about the group was a secret. Every penny spent on this group was from my pocket nobody paid me.

I will no longer address any issue relating to this matter. To clear the air, VDM I didn’t request to see you officer Suleiman was the one who pleaded with me to settle and make peace with you he then called me on June 28th at 6:45am informing me that you wanted to meet with me and I agreed and peace was made’’

ACTOR JIGAN'S RESPONSE

Actor Jigan was described by Verydarkman as being ''a very evil person limping with one leg'' as part of the WhatsApp group formed 14 days after the death of Mohbad ......
Jigan explained his role in the Whatsapp group
He said
“Nigerians you all remember that I used to reach out to the legends in the movie industry and I also have a foundation that helps people with disabilities. Mohbad died two weeks after we made the video of the song where he mentioned my name and I was very sad when I heard that he died.

I started looking for justice on my page, I then got a message where I was asked if I wanted to participate in the movement that was looking for justice for Mohbad by joining a group. I accepted because I wanted justice for Mohbad, nothing is hidden in the group. We were only talking about how to get justice but when I saw that justice was not forthcoming, I got tired and stopped talking in the group. Verydarkman I don’t know anything about Mohbad’s demise, you and I are doing the same job of helping people. I was being careful in the group; I didn’t point fingers at anybody I only wanted to know what killed him”

“VDM is just deceiving his gullible followers. He is manipulating and gaslighting you mumu people. The whole world knows this group chat exists; it even has an Instagram account. We created it to fight for justice against bullies like Naira Marley. VDM has been working against MOHBAD from day one. First it was the DNA talk. Who are you that we will open a group chat for you? When we were fighting for justice, he was still fighting vendors”
