Drama King Teejay's CORNER

I worked in a company at Port Harcourt around 2014. I left two years after when a better opportunity arrived.
During my time at the company, I came in contact with a young pretty Igbo lady

She was so lovely, charming, respectful with an angelic smile. Though we never dated but were very close. I had wanted to date her but there were rumours at the time she was dating the owner of the company.

So no one dares 'eat' from the master's table. Giving credence to the rumour, her appearance showed she was living in money. Her account was in millions as at the time. Oga rented an apartment for her and made her the manager in a new branch and she reports to the main office.

Secretly, I kept communicating with her to see if we can get into a relationship. Jokingly she kept turning me down. ''What would I have offered her that will be close or more than what she was getting from the owner of the company?'' I said to myself. Eventually, I gave up.

In 2016, I had left the company and equally lost communication with her when my phone crashed. I had always pray to see her someday.

Last week I had visited another branch of the company when I got the most shocking news of my life. Someone was discussing and mentioned her name to be late. Immediately I interrupted and asked, '' Excuse me Sir, which of the ××××× are you talking about that's dead?''

I felt so weak when I was told it was my friend that had gone. I never got to know about it. So painfully hurting I didn't get to see her again, not even her corpse.
For some seconds I was lost in the memories of the short time our path crossed.

I didn't know when a tear dropped down my cheek. Coldness ran down my spine. Betrayal kills slowly. Not everyone survives it. It's the most dangerous stab anyone without a conscience can carry out.

I was told that a young man tricked her in the name of marriage, did introduction and they both relocated to Lagos. She left the company and was eagerly anticipating marriage and to start a new life with him. Only to be duped of millions of naira by the same man she had poured out her love on. He absconded with every money he can lay hands on from her account and traveled abroad, leaving her stranded with nothing in Lagos.

She had lost everything to him and fell into depression. Severely, she became sick that her people managed to transport her back from Lagos to the East where she finally passed on. Deep sigh.......

The heart of man is despicably evil. How would you have hurt someone who showed you nothing but true love?
Keep resting with the angels in peaceful sleep.

  1. They don't feel, they don't have empathy, their hearts have been turned facing their backs. They are the killers, the wicked ones, the hateful ones, the crazies, the devils.
They don't understand kindness, they don't understand good, they are self centered, selfish and how to give love.
Now when he suffers or his generation suffers in the nearest future, people pity and proffer solution to them.Evil man.

  2. She was dating the owner of the company who was a married man and this would have hurt the wife of the man seriously. All the millions they stole from her was from a married man. I pray the same fate befalls the man who cheated on his wife with her and caused his wife pains, the same fate should also befall the man who duped her. Amen.

  4. May her soul rest in peace. But really, why give a man who has not married you so much access to your money and your life? I wish women will learn to be strategic like men. It is well

  5. This wickedness is making people shut down and just stay alone
Not just from relationships but from friendships too
You loan someone money when they are having a hard time abc then later you see them spending. Now that they have they still don’t return yours
    Terrible people

  11. This is why I don’t fck with married men. A marriage is a sacred union often done in a religious space and vows taken with those ppl’s god. Tears of children and a wife on your shoulders mean problems in life. No matter how it goes the outsider will pay a price.

    May her soul rip.

  13. May her soul rest in peace. This should be a lesson for everyone. Don't give anyone who has not properly married you access to your finances.

  14. The unwritten rule for sisters who are dating is, in what ever circumstances, emphasis on “whatever”, DO NOT PART WITH YOUR RESOURCES. Don’t give men your money.

Even your husband, unless he is a good man. I know this is controversial but you won’t regret it.

I can’t recall how many times this particular story has happened to people I know. Stop giving men your money. Money doesn’t buy love.
