Pastor Bolaji Idowu Tells Women To Stop Trying To Act As Relationship 'Builders'

Nigerian cleric, Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre has advised women to stop acting as “builders” in their relationships.

Speaking during a recent church service in Lagos....
He said: “You are not called to build your man; you are called to support your man. Some of you have turned into Bob the Builder ‘My car is bad,’ and you say, ‘I will fix it.’ ‘I can’t pay rent,’ and you respond, ‘I’ll pay for you.’ You are meant to support, not to be the builder.

“Once you become Bob the Builder, you also turn into Mother Theresa always correcting and trying to manage him. You pick up a struggling man, build him, and when he gets better, he tells you, ‘I don’t see us that way.’ That’s because you weren’t building the romantic side; you were busy fixing him.”

  4. The Problem with these types of excerpts is that they are msleading or misinforming.
An undiscerning woman will not make any effort to go get the full recording from where the excepts were taken. She will latch to the excerpts and run with them into a ditch.

That was how a young woman came crying here that the older women BVs deceived her into not helping her fiance when he was out of job despite the laudable efforts he had put into building her career.

When next she saw the walk-away fiance, she was in his office trying to pitch her employers for a contract.

And what did the older women tell her? We never said so. We no send you dat message. Cry your tears of loss of a good man alone. Lol.

Half a message is not half a loaf of bread. It is worse than none. But it is sweeter to settled women if it is about a woman not being of value to a man.

  5. But the new generation men, want a woman to build them, and pamper them, wash that pants, their trousers, feed them, pack their plates and bring something to the table...the alpha male of this generation, entitled, lazy and arrogant!

    1. Pro-GenZ pastors!
      They are mostly tithe/offering-preneurs.
Focused only on ear tingling and titillating messages.
Telling their tithers and offering bringing listeners what they want to hear and bring them the next Sunday laden with more to give.

Note: Comment is about Pro-GenZ Pastors, an indefinite group. And mostly is used as a qualifier.
