I have been feeling so down and sad about these incessant political killings of innocent Nigerians that has been happening for a while with no repercussions or consequences for the perpetrators and that is why I fear it will not stop or slow down anytime soon, I mean for crying out loud what is the crime of all the deceased? Is it just being Nigerian or is it now a crime to stay in the north or east or anywhere in this country that these senseless killings continue to be audaciously rampant..... it has been affecting me too much and I find myself wallowing in sadness plus sorrow mixed with pity for the victims I don't know personally then I imagine how their families and loved ones would be feeling then if am like this😔, my performance and efficiency at most of the jobs I do to earn a living legally online and offline are being affected, because I can't think past all of these not knowing my own, family and friends fate in this country and I keep seeing more sad news daily, but Nigerians with misplaced priorities keep engaging in political fights and tribalism over their countrymen lives been snatched away so mercilessly, the last time I felt this way was during the end sars Lekki toll gate massacre, I had to deactivate my twitter and go offline from all socials for 3 weeks plus just to get my mental health right and started to binge watch stand up comedy and sitcoms just to force & trick myself to be laughing and happy again, but this time none of it is working because it is now just too much, I have even excused myself that i cannot attend an hang out/party I was suppose to attend with friends,I just cannot tonight, because everything is so heavy & I have this fear that we haven't even seen the worst that is yet to happen and we didn't just get here suddenly. Nigeria happened slowly but surely 😢💔
ReplyDeleteEvents of the last few months have rendered me speechless. I thought I would visit my country this December as I always did but I'm not coming this year.
DeleteAnd I was thinking that in the next four years, when I hit 60, I would retire to Nigeria.
But I'm not coming back. I'm never returning. No more. I'm devastated. No detty December, no reunion with my old boys and girls.
I'm in mourning. My country has gone to the dogs!

DeleteI was telling my hubby the other day that we should look for how to leave this country, even if it is Cotonou down there, we should just leave Nigeria cos the insecurity is too much. He now asked me that what about our loved ones, our relatives? Will I be at peace if they kidnap or kpai any of them? I'm just so confused.

My people, happy Friday to una o. TGIF! I still dey save for Detty December so I just gentle these days. Last week was my rich friend’s birthday so he bought plenty drinks wey we no fit finish before we move go another place. I told my waitress friend to help me keep the drinks. So today na osho free drinks get me o 😅
ReplyDeleteLast week was quite funny. My friend wey dey do birthday carry us go strip club o. And as waitress dey close by 4, I talk say make I just go while away time until I come back to carry waitress go 😉
As we dey the strip club, na so I receive call from one of my regular olosho. A little back story. This olosho married an old oyibo man and the man died and left her with some money wey she start to dey blow o. Rumor dey fly around say na she kpai the man but wetin concern me. As me be better customer from before she see money, na so I start to dey free drinks and food wey she dey send come our table. My friends dey reject the drinks and food but me I dey consume everything 😂
Sometimes when I carry this olosho go guest house, she go start to dey tell me after we finish the do ‘baby hold me and be romantic’. Gosh I hate it when olosho call me baby. I really hate it 😡. Sometimes, this olosho go wake up for momo and start cleaning the guest house, dey do wife material. Something wey be house boy job. I go just dey look am like 😏
Back to the story, I tell am say make she come meet me and my guys for strip club. At least, I go fit collect osho free that night 😅. Before we left the club, she start to dey open up to me say she wan settle down. And na me she see for dream to settle down with. At that point, I decide say I must discharge this olosho o 😳
As she dey drive me back to my joint to pick my car, I come start to dey form like say the shayo don enter body. I come start to dey do like mad man. Even Terry G go clap for me 😂. The girl come dey fear. I tell am to park in front of 1004. I come japa enter 1004 go hide o. She just dey say ‘baby what’s wrong’. Na so she enter 1004 come dey find me until she got tired and left. Na so I dodge that bullet o 😅
When coast was clear, I just comot and enter taxi go pick my car and carry waitress go jeje. I never knew olosho sef dey wan settle down o. Olosho wey dem say she kpai her husband wan come spoil my life for my mama this Xmas period. Na wa o. Happy Friday to una jare.

ReplyDeleteIt's high time some people stopped forcing others with food. Some of us end up wasting your food, and are not happy about it. Sometime ago, my bestie and I visited a neighbor who makes this sniffy/snorty sound with her nose, she has made it a habit. She also uses Hausa dried tomatoes to cook. Na so aunty cook okra soup o and was like, today two of una must eat my food. We said we weren't hungry x10 but she no gree so we both smiled.😊 Food was served and luckily for us, the neighbor went in to take a shower. Omo the kind speed we use pack the food inside nylon ehn, come tie am put inside my big hand bag to trash 🗑️ it on our way out, which we later did successfully. Dear God, we're sorry 😔.
ReplyDeleteThis same thing happened to me. But it was an Indian woman we went to visit. We just couldn’t eat the Indian food she served. Rotti and some sauce that made us want to 🤮. We tried to eat a bit of the rotti and sauce and kept gagging while she was happily eating and telling us Diwali stories. We told her it was delicious and to pack it up for us as takeaway. On the way home, we trashed all that food. I felt very bad 😔

There was even one dat told me agent fee is 50 percent..
The 4k registration fee doesn't guarantee I will get d job but I am allowed to apply for three more jobs with d fee..
Nothing is free in Nigeria again🤦🤦
