Kwara State Govt Orders School Closure In 5 LGAs Over Insecurity Issues

According to Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, the decision was made to protect school children from armed groups believed to be fleeing intensified security operations. 

Authorities fear these groups may attempt to use students as human shields or targets.
