The Edo state house of assembly has reportedly given Honorable Natasha Osawaru Idibia one week to appear before the ethics and privilege committee for dragging the house into disrepute with her recent actions and conducts that has been trending.
The directive was issued by the speaker of the house Honorable Blessing on Tuesday during plenary ...He said:
''Honorable Natasha should appear before the ethics committee to let us know why she is dragging the rules of this house into the mud.
This house with highly educated and cerebral members have been dragged in the mud for too long by our colleague Honorable natasha.
For the past one week she has been trending negatively on social media and television channels.
We want to let the public know that this house is a decent and reputable house, in Nigeria as a whole this house is the best house.
we have responsible and intelligent members in this house.
members that know what they are doing so the attitude of a member cant drag other members to disrepute and we will not take it. on that note, honorable Natasha should appear before the ethics committee within one week and the committee should report back within two weeks."

So Epa wasn't summoned but Tasha baby is being summoned? Is there different rules for different states and jurisdictions?
ReplyDeleteIs he a member of the Edo house of assembly?
Delete09:54,
DeletePlease use google.
Ask for the difference between the house of assembly and house of representatives.
Use your sense now. It's the Edo house of assembly that summoned Nee Idibia.
DeleteShe is in the State House of Assembly. Maybe their regulations differs like you said.
DeleteLearn to exercise patience my people. Stella's blog is international and it's not only you Nigerians that read the blog. I asked a question to know how your system works. Because I was thinking same should have been done to Epa. Calm down.
DeleteEPA's own didn't involve any public or physical altercation/fight between him & his wife but in Natasha's case, there were video evidences of her misconducts at the airport, getting arrest in a foreign country and the LIVE altercation via Daddy Freezes' IG LIVE. As a Honourable Member and a public figure, she should've conducted herself better.
DeleteRon
Thank you anon 13:50. It looks like, house of Assembly is different from Senate. am I right? If yes, which of the 2 positions is higher and how do they operate?
DeleteOh really? Let see how this turns out
ReplyDeleteHonestly dem no get work..wetin concern them on private matter?
DeleteAlways high as a kite, hence the 24/7 glasses
ReplyDeleteHer actions are uncalled for knowing her position.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm!
ReplyDeleteSo many public office holders have been dragged online by their spouses and families and none was summoned.
Her private life is different from her service to the people of Edo, However as a public office holder one needs to be upright at all times.
Ngwanu!
ReplyDeleteBut is family issues not like she committed a big crime.
ReplyDeleteDishonorable isonu 🙄🙄🙄
ReplyDeleteHonorable warrior only corrected her husband now eh 😂😂
ReplyDeleteShe didn't do well at all.
ReplyDeleteYou hold a public office and you cannot comport yourself well.
Ngwuanu go and answer your call.
ReplyDeleteThat's good, hopefully after this episode she learns how to handle things better as the public figure that she is.
ReplyDeleteWarrior queen not honourable.
ReplyDeleteYou people should stop this gender thing. This lady is a lawyer and law maker, travelled abroad and was fighting in public. Why are we comparing it to Ned's issue?
ReplyDeleteSomebody needs to call these our public officials to order.
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought too, during Ned and Regina's saga.
Thank God, Edo house is doing the needful.
She should be suspended sef
ReplyDeleteNa wa
ReplyDeleteThe house did the right thing. Let’s see if she will control her actions henceforth.
ReplyDeleteEdo people and stubbornness, na follow come.
ReplyDeleteImagine her career is now in jeopardy because of getting with that man. Girl, you should have left that married man alone and know that nothing good could come from wrapping up with someone who had such a sordid history with women. Anyhoo, work yourselves out cause that baby did not ask to come into a life of drama because of adults and their selfishness. Work that shyt out!
