David Effiong was seen parading in full masquerade attire despite the ban and residents reported he was causing a public disturbance and allegedly damaging property...The Police arrested him immediately.
Governor Umo Eno recently issued an executive order banning masquerade processions across the state, citing incidents of harassment, extortion, intimidation, and property destruction linked to masqueraders.

These ppl were doing all that. In my culture they would come out during the holiday season do their performance and collect donations. They never did anything out of the way. Akwa masquerades must be a different breed
