The video of that woman in Jos, holding her dead son, while assuring herself that he is not dead, made me sad all day yesterday. I am a father, and I LOVE my kids Incredibly. The death of a child, is not something you'll wish for any parent. In this case, her son wasn't sick. Didn't have an accident. Her boy, hale and hearty, had his life cruelly taken, by bloodthirsty demons!

Several hours later, I remember that image, and I shudder! She is one of several, who lost children, spouses, parents, siblings, and relatives on Sunday night in Jos.....😢
Yet, we have a president who hasn't bothered to fly into Jos to identify with the people and assure them of safety. His only concern, is his re-election bid. SMH!
The governor of the state, came to mourn with the people, and he had the audacity to come in an armoured tank. What hope do you intend to give the people then? SMH
Sadly, this is a recurring theme all over the nation. People killed daily like chickens, and the government doing next to nothing to halt the tide. 😡
In Nigeria, your life doesn't matter. Know this and know peace. Na God hand we just dey. 🥹
I am mature enough to respect people's decisions to support any political party or candidate. But if you're a staunch supporter of this government, search your CONSCIENCE.....

Every time you're in conflict with someone, but you go to them and seek reconciliation and forgiveness - the Kingdom is breaking into this world. Every time you have a chunk of money and decide to give significantly to somebody who is hungry or homeless or poor - the Kingdom is breaking into the world. Any time someone has an addiction and wants to partner with God so much that they are willing to get help from a loving community - the Kingdom is breaking into the world. Every time a workaholic parent decides to stop idolising their job, rearranges their life and begins to love and care for the family entrusted to them - the Kingdom is breaking into the world. Every time you include someone who's lonely, every time you encourage someone who's defeated, every time you challenge somebody who's wandering off the path, and every time you serve the needy - the Kingdom of God is once more breaking into the world.
Jesus taught us to pray: 'Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven' (Matthew 6:10 NKJV). Notice he didn't tell us to pray, 'Get me out of here so I can go up there!' His prayer was, 'Make things run down here, in my life, the way they run up there.' The answer to this prayer begins with you personally: your body, your mind, your appetites, etc. Then it spreads to your workplace, your family, your neighbourhood, your church and your sphere of influence.
So, where do you want to see God's presence and power break into your world?
