Nollywood actor Tobi Makinde has shut down rumours of a fallout with Funke Akindele and clarified that their relationship remains solid despite her absence at his December 2025 wedding.
Speaking with BBC, Tobi described the speculation as a product of social media’s false narratives, and stressed that nothing happened between them. He explained that relationships can appear distant when people move through different phases of life but that doesn’t mean there’s conflict.
“I’m not aware of any fallout between madam Funke and I. Nothing really happened. Our relationship did not start on social media and no be for social media e go end”
But you made a post that day, an innuendo, "TOOR", that was what you wrote that same day when she ignored Toyin.
