Florida Vice Mayor Nancy Bowen Reportedly Unalifed By Husband

A devastating incident occurred in Coral Springs, Florida, where 38‑year‑old Vice Mayor Nancy Bowen lost her life in a domestic tragedy involving her husband, 40‑year‑old Stephen Bowen, on the night of March 31, 2026.

Authorities say Stephen fatally shot Nancy inside their home and left her body in one of the bedrooms.
The next morning, he reportedly went to his uncle’s house and confessed that he had killed her because “he couldn’t take it anymore.”

The uncle immediately contacted emergency services. Stephen fled into a nearby apartment complex but was later located and taken into custody by law enforcement.

  4. Whatever it is one cannot take in marriage, give yourself a break. Take a break from the marriage- separate or walk out of the marriage. That is better than taking someone's life. If it's not in self defence- defending yourself from getting killed, I really don't understand why people just can't walk away instead of killing another human being.

    4. Did you all goggle about the man before your guessing and seconding?
When wives do the same is because of the success of their husbands?
Or are women destined to be under men in success that is why they don't do it over husbands' success as insinuated?

Do we just enjoy petty-genderising all issues? Even a sad one like this?

  13. He probably could not take her success anymore. If you can't handle a high achieving woman just leave her alone. She deserved her life. Rest in peace lovely. I can't even image what your family is going through.

    1. Marrying down is a big problem.

I don't say this in a derogatory way....Lord sees my heart.

If a man doesn't fall within the financial bracket and lifestyle you mat be used to chances are his ego will be bruised in the long run.

Train your daughters to spot this.

The tiniest things that happen become ego issues.

I ran oooooo. Marriage gbakwa oku

    2. The thing just tire me. Their ego wont make them stay away from successful high achieving women because they are gold diggers but that same ego will be jealous and envious of the woman's success.

      Useless mofos.
I always pity women who marry down. You will become an acrobat trying to contort around his smelling ego.

    4. "Marrying down is a big problem."
      Very well said.

Very true for women and men.

Mothers train your sons to avoid marrying into down families even IF the woman appears above the average of her family.

Did you read what Singer Chike said his mother told him? Stell posted it here. Find and read it for your sons' sake.

Plenty men wish their Mama told them the same thing before they married. Their premium pro max tears cannot wash away the sorrow they wallow in.

Mothers, tell your sons to look beyond the physical, which may be surgically enhanced anyway and brings more wasted maintenance bills rivalled only by wasted votes in N....

Above all, Mothers tell your sons to search and look for a woman of virtue, a woman who share same values with them, who does not bring something to the table, but brings all round physical, emotional, and spiritual value into their matrimonial lives.

If you are an unmarried man and you intend to marry, this is an encyclical you should not ignore. Otherwise, your tears may remind you of it.

      Be advised.
Na who go know as it is said in the Niger Delta.

    5. See the whole list women should bring to the table, he conveniently did not mention what the man is bringing to the table. Make dem de play and continue playing victims of their own rules in their man's world.

    2. They never do! The problem is happening in him and it is the wife he chooses to shoot 3 times in the head and was caught by police as he was handling the rifle to someone else, as he planned to escape. Nothing was wrong in his head if he planned all of that.

The marriage was just three years old, I don’t know how long they knew each other. Apparently, she was planning on running for Congress. She was an environmental scientist before going into politics and had her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins. She was a woman who was success minded. I heard her mother buried a son in December.

This man was a devil who entered her life under the guise of ‘love’ and marriage but her enemy who had one mission, to stop her rise. He is despicable through and through. Wrapping this woman up in sheets and stuffing her in garbage bags, the same woman who probably kissed him goodnight, shared her body with him for his pleasure, and made him dinner the night before. It’s not an alligator, a python, or even a robber that put her life out, it’s the man she called husband, that she slept next to every night and was writing odes about on Facebook.
