Lagos Murder Suspect Flees To Cross River State And Unalifes Lover With Cutlass Over Cheating Allegations

A Lagos murder suspect, Sunday Ejor, who fled back to Cross River years ago, has allegedly killed his 26‑year‑old lover, Lucy Moshe Igu, after a fight over suspected infidelity.

Police say he dragged her to a stream and attacked her with a cutlass, then hid her body in the bush. Confronted by community youths, he later led them to the spot. Officers rescued him from mob violence and transferred the case to the State CID for investigation.

  2. Nawao. This is really sad. No matter the situation nothing justifies taking a life. If there were issues in the relationship walking away should have been the option not violence. May justice be served. That's how one man stalked his ex wife until he was able to know her location through her Facebook photos from the signboard of the school where she was teaching in a far away state, from there he traced her and attempted to kpai her but God pass devil, he didn't succeed

  3. Incompetent policing cost this lady her life. When he fled Lagos state, did the Lagos police command contact the Cross River police command? Did they ask that they be on the lookout for possible contact by the suspect with people he knows? I imagine that a girlfriends place will be the first location the police will be keeping tabs on for the suspect to turn up. None of this was done. If the youths of the community hadn't apprehended him, this killer would have still been walking free.
