I remember one time I attended a church programme with Apostle Joshua Selman as one of the invitees. We were singing and dancing and just marinating in God's presence when one girl brought out her phone and started doing content. The way we all pounced on her, she never expected it, na sharp sharp she put phone inside her bag.

The way some people bring out their phone to make videos while worshipping is something I really frown at. Focus on your Maker na! Na wa!
DeleteI don't know why people won't let them breathe. Was this not the same thing that happened to davido? He went to church the next thing he was called out like he was scheduled prior for special engagement. He just stopped going. Whenever you see them you let them be. They are humans like you and they just want to do normal things. Ugh!!!

ReplyDeleteIf you could check it critically she has a point... instead people to focus on what brought them to church they will be taking pictures because a celebrity is around, same excuse that Ronaldo gave for not going to the funeral of his friend due to people bringing all attention on him, instead of the other person. My view though.

ReplyDeleteThe thing about them is they dont act normal in church too. The go in with plenty paparazi, there is one in front and one at their back, videoing them. It will definitely draw attention. So do not blame people.

The cameras are always on the audience roaming looking for facial expressions. It’s like we always part of a movie. Do small dance to be happy and camera man won’t leave till you get tired
