For his persistent efforts against copyright infringement, Igelige was named Nigeria's Entertainment Lawyer of the Year (2019) and recognized globally by Who’s Who Legal (2022) as a leading copyright lawyer.
He co-founded the Friends of the Creators Artistic Foundation (FCF), which won "Best Intellectual Property Foundation" in 2018. Through FCF, he has mentored over 5,000 individuals and legal professionals, creating a lasting system to protect Nigeria's creative industry.
In 2022, he was a finalist in the Nigeria UK Alumni Award for Social Action. On the whole, Igelige has made almost 400 million Naira for the victims of copyright infringement in Nigeria.
