The EFCC said they were only verifying a medical report for a fraud suspect and claimed hospital staff attacked and locked them in. They later returned to apologize, but unions insist the assault, injuries, and damages must be fully investigated.
In response, the NMA and JOHESU shut down all health services in Akwa Ibom, declaring an indefinite statewide strike until accountability is served.

Very good. Let them strike till the EFCC pays for damages. Their excesses are getting too much.
