How Frank Edoho Gave Me the Silent Treatment in Paris After I Documented That He Abused His Ex‑Wife Kathryn

This is my eyeball‑to‑eyeball story concerning this whole Frank Edoho brouhaha. No one has paid me to write or support anyone. I’m only joining the conversation because I’ve seen wrong narratives concerning the abuse of Katherine being pushed for years.

I will start from the start, so that you understand how this story involves me and why i will end with a laugh........
I had just started working for Encomium when Frank and his ex‑wife Katherine fell apart. Before I go further, it is important to note that Frank and Katherine were the darlings of the press, and I noticed they could do no wrong in the media. Encomium wrote back‑to‑back positive stories about Frank because he was a “friend of the house.”

When the news broke that the pair had fought and Frank had beaten Katherine black and blue, I interviewed Katherine as the rookie journalist I was. She had photos to back up the domestic violence she was suffering at the time.

The interview was explosive.
After the interview, I went home for the weekend, only to return on Monday and discover that Encomium had contacted Frank to get his side of the story. He denied ever beating Katherine.
Both the abuse story and his denial were placed side by side on the cover.

I was upset that they contacted him, but my boss later explained that a story must be balanced from both sides to avoid wahala and to protect the publication from being sued.
Katherine said the beatings and cheatings were constant and she had had enough. She showed photos of a bloodied face and features rearranged by blows. The press had more empathy for Frank, and you could see that her cry‑for‑help stories were subtly shut down while his denials made the covers.

Along the line, I got married and relocated but continued writing. However, I avoided anything that had to do with Frank because he seemed larger than life in the press. Maybe that was just my opinion, but that’s how I felt.

Fast‑forward to Paris At a wedding in 2012

We were all lodged at the villa where the wedding was to hold, and celebrities kept trooping in. I met a lot of my fans and foes.

On the morning of the wedding, I walked into the breakfast room and among those having breakfast were Frank and Sandra. The moment I was introduced, his smile froze, and my “hello” was ignored. I guess that is the “malice” in his nature that he later talked about.
Sandra, whom I did not know from anywhere, also ignored me. The room became tense, and it felt as if he had instructed Sandra to ignore me or she read his mood and duplicated what he did.......It also felt as if he told the bride to exit me from the room or he would leave if I didn’t.

I read the room and quietly left. I went to my room to complain to my husband, and he advised me to ignore Frank. I did just that. Since then, I have avoided anything that has to do with him.

Let me be clear: He ignored me because I was the one who interviewed Katherine for Encomium. I labelled him a wife‑beater, and I still believe Katherine told the truth. She was broken.
Seeing the same Frank and Sandra , who held onto each other in that Paris room as if their lives depended on it now dragging each other on social media makes me laugh without regret.
I remember seeing them laugh at me while I limped slightly away with a painful knee. Today, I boldly return the laugh.
Una don see am? The cane that whipped Katherine has whipped Sandra and will whip someone else.
Katherine was a victim of domestic violence. As for Sandra, I don’t know her story.

Ladies... before marrying any guy understudy his childhood, trauma sticks especially when the suitor reports to himself and nobody else.

  4. It’s so sad how having power and fame will easily make ppl side with a wrongdoer.
Stella, I blame you too for even acknowledging such a person’s existence. Never show courtesy to a woman beater or child molester, ppl who do such should be shunned.

  6. One thing I noticed is that men are angry with chike...but women aren't 😂
I don't even understand. If it's a crime to sleep with other's wife why don't you see it as a crime for single ladies to sleep with you that is another's husband? and due to this, you men keep your distance from single ladies and stop having side chicks? You see women as your property or what? If it's not wickedness, a lot of you sleep with other men's women, these are men like yourselves and you don't care or you want to say you don't know that girl you are cheating on your wife with is someone else's woman? Suddenly men are vexing because they have suddenly realized that if they don't take their vows seriously and cheat on their wives, what happened to Frank can happen to them too because many chikes exist.
They can't imagine their wives being touched by another, but they imagine themselves and a single lady.

And for the person who said men get angry when their wives cheat because they are feeding them and they could bring someone else's child home is hilarious. Even if the wife is done with giving birth and has money to take care of herself and cheats, the man will still get angry because a lot can dish it but can't take it.

You people just take it easy at take your vows seriously and you will have nothing to worry about. For those who said she should have just left the marriage, is it not on this blog people say, you can't beat a person and still tell them how to cry or react? She should have left instead of cheating well, frank should have left too instead of cheating. Both of them fit each other. May cheaters always marry their kinds.

    1. You infantilize women as if they have no mind of their own. If a man sleeps with a woman without her consent, isn’t that rape? Didn’t women know it’s wrong to sleep with a man you are not married to? And who determines when sex should or shouldn’t happen?

      Delete
    2. 19:07...And you ended up infantilizing men. Talking bout who determine when sex should and shouldn't happen. So men are just robots and dummies that are are fine-tuned to go along with a female desire, when the woman snaps her finger whether they want the sex or not? When she determines when as the master the man must show up at all cost against his volition right? Or you dont know if a woman sleeps with a man without his consent it's called rape too? Or you don't know men also get raped?

Imagine casting your autonomy and sense of reasoning on a woman solely because you want to be absolved of your actions?

Well let me answer your one-sided question with a one-sided answer because I find it funny...

      Question:
"Don't women know they shouldn't sleep with a man they are not married to....?"

      Answer:
Maybe they don't know the same way married men that cheat do not know it's wrong to sleep with anyone else asides their wives.

    3. Go read the Judy Austin story sdk did after this one, and read comments by your female folks acknowledging Judy broke her fellow woman home. If your fellow woman can acknowledge that a woman can set out to take her fellow woman husband, then I don’t have anything to say to you.

    4. And you are going to pretend you don't see how those same women drag veins on yul's neck all the time for LETTING a strange woman into his life? Oh! I forgot she tied him up and forced her way into his life and his home and poor victim yul couldn't do anything about it and he just sat there helplessly in tears crying for help while screaming stop his lungs to be saved. She was so strong she overpowered his senses, his marital vows, love for his kids and the stable home he was meant to protect as a man and the head of the house.
And you also don't see fellow women all the time on here insist that men aren't toys that can be stolen without their permission, interest, involvement? Yea, you are right Judy is dragged while Yul is petted by the women on the blog.

The difference between you and those women you think you are vilifying is that they even castigate their fellow women when they do something wrong on this blog unlike you and your kind who have never for one day castigated yul but hide but when it's a woman you all come out to nag all over the blog space like anyone cares.

Look! If you are going to nit-pick by arguing against women's stance on cheating and at the same time support your arguments with a one -sided excerpt you picked from these same women just to justify why men cheat then I apologize for even acknowledging your comment in the first place.

Bloodied face can be gotten in various ways.
And after you now go and say hello, say you no contact am then but now you wanna say hello. I don't fault him on his response.

A woman can be crying and still be lying.
I can never believe a one sided story, especially from a woman.
If a woman haven't accuse you wrongfully before and continue crying to make it look real, you will never understand how heartless some women are when they want to stain your image.

If any woman(even my own sister) cry to me that a man did something to her, I will 1st find out the truth before reacting.

The worst thing that can happen to a lady is to get married to a man that keeps malice and sees nothing wrong with it.
I am talking from experience. My ex husband is malice member group.
Any day you didn't agree to his opinion or support his evil plan.. malice will follow.
I was so lonely and skinny throughout the one and half year I lived with him before I ran to my papa house

You wrote on this and also got backlash even the wife too, he made os wife look bad.
The wife never made any interviews to defend herself.
Base on what i have seen from frank he looks like a villain and very proud person. Is better he makes peace with his ex wife, he thinks he is still young. He should learn from RMD.
Stella then you dey write fire oh your interviews were very explosive.
Guess what Stella Dimoko am still reading your articles. Cheers to the your Journey. So far so Good

  19. Stella, let me tell you something. 🗣️

About 10 years ago, someone working at a hotel in VI told us he witnessed him treating his then pregnant wife Sandra horribly, didn't even care that staff were watching. Said he's nothing like the calm, handsome image we all believed in.

Funny thing? We were literally drooling over how fine and composed he looked when this story came up. The person who told us had no axe to grind, just stated what she saw with her own two eyes.

Just like you said, the person also said now believes he physically assaulted the other ex Catherine based on what she witnessed.

  20. Frank agbaya the woman beater.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Let’s agree he was a woman beater, a narcissist, keeps malice, and not what he portrayed himself to be on tv. Should he get cheated on because of this? Shouldn’t the woman walk out of her marriage when she realized this man is all the qualities listed above but she decided to cheat, and got caught, now people suddenly knows he treated the first wife shabbily, now karma calls. When people reasons like this, where will the profundity that can make a great develop comes from? And you wonder why the country is this backward?

Did you not read where Sandra said he brought his girlfriends home to cheat on his matrimonial bed? Thats the kind of cheat Frank is and Sandra deserves everything he did to her. He also deserves to be cheated on. Dont beat someone and tell them how to cry.

  25. I have watched Frank Edoho for a while now on X and he comes off as a bully, with the way he hounds people who disagree with him, how he insults their parents and tramples on their dignity...he doesn't seem to have a bone of happiness in his body. I recall his issue with Katherine that time, how he used the media to bully her into silence. We didn't have a name for it then, but we now know it was also a form of digital violence. I'm glad she escaped and fled the country. The way Edoho also hid behind a blog to release audio clips is laughable, if it were the other way around with his own lovers, Sandra would be on the grill.

  27. Hehehehe. You edit parts that do not fit your narrative off stories. You insert yourself in a news story. When inserted in a balanced way in the story, self/status-preservative instinct warns on the need to hide comments. A simple check confirmed as Catherine Obiang had once said that she is Cameroonian/Nigerian. Her Nigerian mother is Efik. But for now, she being a Cameroonian fit the narrative. An enabled comment insults majority of Calabar/Akwa Ibom men as wicked. Who raised or raise the men. Mothers? Fathers? Parents? Themselves? You do not know tribal insults are against the rules you know so well.
