Arsenal started the night like a team on a mission, and scored early raising hopes of finally lifting the Champions League trophy But PSG refused to let the script play out that easily because they equalised in the second half, dragged the game into extra time, and eventually sealed the win on penalties.
It was a brutal ending for Arsenal, who fought hard but couldn’t survive the shootout.
PSG walked away with the trophy and Arsenal walked away with heartbreak .

I felt so bad for Arsenal blowing this one up. It hurts, and even though I’m a Chelsea fan, I really rooted for them to win this. If nothing else, at least the insults and banter from other fans would’ve stopped.
