Senator Oshiomole Versus TV Host Rufai Full Blown On Air Confrontation

Tension erupted on Arise TV after Senator Adams Oshiomhole and anchor Rufai Oseni clashed over the senator’s call for Nigeria to nationalise South African companies like MTN following renewed xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

Oshiomhole insisted that no foreign investment is worth a single Nigerian life, arguing that South African shareholders in MTN could be removed while Nigerian shareholders retain their stakes.
But Rufai pushed back hard, questioning the legality and global consequences of such a move.

Rufai Oseni:

“So anytime Nigeria has issues with another country, we just nationalize their companies? That’s how Oshiomhole sees things?”

Oshiomhole (visibly irritated):

“Rufai, answer the question: Is foreign money more important than the life of a Nigerian?
If your value system places investment above human lives, say it.”
“We don’t want investors who profit at the expense of human blood… Even in my poverty, I value my life.”
“So why don’t we nationalize the wealth of Nigerian billionaires since people are dying in the North?”

This triggered a sharper response from Oshiomhole, who accused Rufai of interrupting repeatedly:
“No, no, no… you can’t ask four questions without letting me answer.
You have an obligation to listen.”
The studio atmosphere grew tense as both men refused to back down.

To think that Naija spent so much money for their freedom struggles and gave most of their leaders education and comfort back in the 70s.
I remember how a Naija led boycott in protest against apartheid in SA almost pulled down a Commonwealth Games in 1980s and took away its shine.
The xenophobes of SA are pure lazy ingrates.

Osho may have his personal beef. But his call is right. Veriy as explained by him that only SA investors should be affected.
E be like na only Iron hand the lazy Xenophobes in SA dey understand.
