DeleteFor the past two months, this beautiful and colourful little bird has been coming around my environment. White with small black spots. I honestly don’t even know the name of the bird, but I love watching it every morning whenever it comes around. It reminds me of nature and peace........
ReplyDeleteAfter some days, I noticed the small 🐦 bird started building a nest around my garden. My mind just assured me say, “This bird na man.”
Sometimes I even wonder who taught birds how to sing. Indeed, nature is amazing.
While the bird was building its new home in my garden....., sometimes I would go there and arrange the nest small with my hand. I even dropped small crayfish there for am. Omo, na so I dey support the project.
Fiammmmmmmmmm… this week, I noticed the bird started coming with another bird… same breed oo… coming to inspect the new nest.
I dey vexxxxx .......You build house finish, next thing you don dey bring woman come house? Not under my roof o!
I go scatter that nest by weekend. Even me sef never bring woman come house before. Na so ashewo life dey start. Before you know now, you go begin bring your fellow bird wives come house....

DeleteReminds me of when one bird (a pigeon) made a nest on the outer part of my bathroom window, I wanted to scatter it but my son said I should leave it, he loves animals.
DeleteTo cut the long story short, after laying eggs and hatching, the whole bathroom was stinking and filled with crawling insects that entered inside.
The bird used its poop to mould the nest like a plate. Then the rotten eggs too. OMG
The whole place was smelling, I had to scatter everything and wash the place with disinfectant.
Since then, anytime I see a bird trying to make a nest near where I live, I scatter it and chase it away. Let them go outside the house or enter bush or go to the trees.
So Jerry, since it's in your garden, leave it.

If God turns a blind eye to confessed sin, shouldn't we? This doesn't mean we deny our sin or ignore it. If we underestimate our sinfulness, we depreciate the grace of God. Paul called himself the chief of sinners (see 1 Timothy 1:15). Perhaps that's why he appreciated the grace of God so much. The reason many of us label others by their sin is because it makes us feel better about ourselves. We think: 'I may not be perfect, but at least I haven't done that!'
But Paul was explicit: 'For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard' (Romans 3:23 NLT). God doesn't grade our sins like the legal system, as indictable or summary offences. No, we are either in sin or in Christ. We're either guilty or fully forgiven. Not only have our sins - past, present and future - been atoned for. At the point of believing faith, God forgives us and credits our accounts with the righteousness of Christ.
