If you know, that as a young lady, you waka small. As in, you enter some kind corner. When you want to settle down; find a place and pray. Pray very well. Pray for mercy, forgiveness and grace. Also, fast. Make some things drop you for body. As you are praying and fasting, anything God tells you to give up… give up.
When I was in my waiting season, God told me to give out all the designers my exes gave me. I mean, expensive bags, watches, shoes, gold jewellery. Some I bought on vacations. I did it. Friends laughed at me, people mocked me for no longer looking glamorous. But today? My story is different. I can afford all that on my own.
Peggy waka. Leave that thing. Private jet wey ppl dey enter today; she entered it that tiiiime. You think you can stunt like that and devil won’t wait for you ahead? No. Just no. But sometimes; pride does not let us look inward. We think we are in control until we realise we actually aren’t. I was shocked when she married Fred cos I thought she would marry a senior Odogwu, like them Regina. I come wonder say na so market fall abi na love blind am?
Anyway, that is for my sisters to learn from. Just go low key, avoid “friends”, pray and fast when you’re ready to settle down. And see how God would settle you. It may not be the best man in everyone’s eyes but you would see in the end. Especially if the man has a heart for God.

ReplyDeleteNow, when you waka kurukere, you go see money oh! But it takes your self esteem away from you. No matter how beautiful you are, if you depend on a man for money, your self esteem would be impacted. Because money is required to maintain and lifestyle and as long as you are not in full control of that, your self esteem would take a hit. Which is why people come for ladies like Veekee J because she is young and in full financial control of her life.
Through that lens of self esteem, you would do many silly things. You would choose a man who is up to standard and you would be too blind to recourse. Everyone would see it, but you’d be the last to. Na wetin happen for here so.
How? Wetin join Peggy and Fred? Who dash? And to imagine that she was talking plenty on her wedding day. Praising him on top wedding wey she sponsor? Na wetin happen when person don desperate to marry.
I am sure people warned her but when she married him she was happy to prove them wrong. Hence the plenty plenty talk. Unnecessary talk. As woman; you suppose enter the marriage first see as e be. Born for the man, she if he can keep you at home. Before you start shouting .
She was even doing video, showing how he won’t let her go on set. For marriage wey you marry after waka? As 2 mature singles? I clutched my pearls when I saw all these but I hoped I was wrong. Come to find out I wasn’t.
And all this ranting only goes to show how much she lowered her self esteem to accommodate him. Peggy, enter house abeg. Enter your prayer closet and restrategise. You no dey perfect. Do like that Shawn Fuqua’s wife, you hear? Take your “L” and ask God for a 2nd chance.
Leave Fred alone. He was never the issue. If say you get eye before, you for no marry am. Sorry.
