Memory Lane- Moin Moin Wey Wear Jacket

 Are there still moin moin made like this? this was the only way then but they say its dangerous but the oly way now is only dangerous..cooking with plastic is a no no .........

  1. I grew up eating moimoi made like this but now I use moimoi plates. They are small aluminum plates with cover. They are more healthy than nylons but moimoi leaves are the best.

  7. To wash it na d!e.. we never used it in our house but I see how my friends struggle to wash it. Made me always thank God that we don't use it.

  8. Those days of real moimoi, when people go to the grinding engine to ground the moimoi to be very smooth. Nowadays moimoi (even for commercial) are grinded in blenders and it makes them not smooth enough. I love my moimoi plain. If anything extra has to be in it, it should not be more than eggs. Struggling with fish bone inside moimoi is a no no for me.

  11. I use moimoi pouch bags, but I discovered that when tou want to reuse it some are not okay while some are okay. I bought it 4k for 50 pieces. I will be trying that moimoi plates.

  13. There is actually nothing wrong with using the tins if they are not rusted, since it is the same process as canning.

  18. We never used this growing up, we used leaves but i use nylon now, even though its not healthy as i dont know how to wrap the leaf properly.
