The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has declared alleged drug kingpin Nnamuka Kelvin Uchenna, also known as Odogwu, and three associates wanted for operating a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory and laundering drug proceeds. The wanted associates are Emmanuella Chinonso Iroka, Nnamuka Ifeanyi Kingsley, and Ekechi Franklin Chijioke.
Their declaration followed an order by Justice Iniekenimi Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Owerri, after NDLEA filed suit number FHC/OW/CS/22/2026 on July 3, 2026. The order came after operatives uncovered a meth lab at Isiozi, Umuaka, Njaba LGA, Imo State, where 18.4 kilograms of methamphetamine and other exhibits were seized on February 25, 2026. Investigations linked the suspects to the lab, prompting them to go into hiding.
A forensic financial probe led NDLEA to freeze bank accounts connected to the syndicate containing N9,840,873,566.66. The agency also secured interim forfeiture of several multi billion naira assets, including a filling station, multi storey residential buildings and four SUVs with registration numbers RLU 148 AJ, KJA 563 FZ, BWR 249 DY, and FST 208 HU.
NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd.) praised the operation, describing it as a strong demonstration of the agency’s commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks and disrupting the financial systems that sustain them.
