NNPCL Drops Petrol Price Again

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has reduced its petrol pump price for the second time in less than two weeks.
A market check on Sunday confirmed that NNPCL filling stations have adjusted their price from N1,210 to N1,150 per litre, marking a N60 reduction.

Between June 27 and July 5, 2026, NNPCL has now slashed petrol prices by N110.

This latest cut comes just three days after Dangote Refinery announced its fourth gantry price drop, bringing its rate down to N1,075 per litre.
Other major stations including NIPCO, AA Rano and Ranoil have also reduced their pump prices to between N1,205 and N1,240.
The downward trend follows a drop in global crude benchmarks, with Brent and WTI trading at $72 and $68 per barrel at the time of reporting.
