Bishop Oyedepo Reacts To Rising Insecurity In Nigeria.

Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, spoke strongly against the rising violence and insecurity across the country, and expressed deep concern over what he described as government silence in the face of constant bloodshed.

During the Sunday service, he declared: “Judgement has arrived. You cannot take the lives of people close to me and expect me to pray for you. I speak against you, your household and your lineage in the name of Jesus.”

He stated that the attacks are being supported by certain individuals and pronounced a curse on anyone involved. Oyedepo lamented the frequent killings and questioned the government’s response, saying he has not heard any clear statement addressing the situation.

He ended by saying that God has assured him that anyone backing or enabling the violence will soon face divine judgement.

    3. @Oskirin, can you please place the success of the military side by side the frequency of this evil act? there is no day in Nigeria that there is no kidnapping/killing by the bandits they have refused to tag terrorist. Do you know the statistics of men, women, and children that had died in their custody? if you reason well, you will know that what that man is crying about is the reality on ground. Anyway, keep supporting evil, you hear?

Nigeria is 5th most violent country globally by the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) and the 4th most terrorism-affected country in the world.

    3. @Golden Tulip, the bible also says,
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiates 3:1,8)

Jesus said to His disciples, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one (Luke 22:36).

It is for defence not attack.

      BE PREPARED TO DEFEND YOURSELF.
