A viral video captured the shocking moment a bride halted her church wedding during the exchange of vows by boldly saying “NO” when the pastor asked her the forever question.
According to the snippet, when the minister turned to read the vow to her, she responded, “No, I don’t,” and even took a slight step away from the groom. The declaration happened right in front of the officiating minister and the entire congregation, leaving everyone visibly stunned.
The groom appeared embarrassed and confused.
In the audio, a male voice addressing the bride as “my daughter” urged her to reveal to the congregation what she had previously confided in him during her visits.
For now, the reason behind her dramatic refusal remains unknown.
Hopefully, the bride will come forward to explain why she chose to walk into a church and say NO at the altar.

ReplyDeleteHad my younger followed my advice after seeing so many many red flags, he wouldn't have lost 2 kids and divorced after 5 years of marriage. Is better to say no now that regret later
ReplyDeleteMen hardly listen when their parents or siblings are given them advice in marriage, the society terms such men not man enough. Some of them carry the burden and some die in it, trying to prove to the society how man enough they are. Men needs to start walking away from marriage and relationships that doesn’t favor them.

Did she just find out a secret about her groom at the entrance of the church for saying no at the altar? In the course of embarrassing the man, she embarrassed herself and the two families. Why wait till you get to the altar before saying no? She could have cancelled the wedding before the day for whatever reason. I wish both of them well.

Maybe she tried to call it off before and was threatened or coerced to follow through. Yes, it is embarrassing but her no at the altar is undisputed, everyone heard it and no rumours will surround it.
