Gov Adeleke Says He Will Support President For Re-election Bid But Denies Any Political Deal...

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has debunked claims that he entered into any political deal with President Bola Tinubu before endorsing him for a second term in 2027.

Speaking on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, Adeleke said his support for Tinubu is not based on any agreement, responding directly to Minister Festus Keyamo’s earlier comment that “agreement is agreement.”

Adeleke insisted he never reached any pact with the President, and explained that his support is simply because Tinubu is a Yoruba man from the South‑West, and he wants to encourage him to continue ongoing federal road projects in the region.

Asked if he would back Tinubu fully in 2027, Adeleke replied, “Absolutely, I will.”
He also said he is willing to work with APC members, including his rivals, whenever the President needs him during the campaign.
Adeleke recently secured re‑election with 511,067 votes, winning 19 LGAs, while APC’s Bola Oyebamiji scored 444,815 and won 11 LGAs.

This your support of Tinubu is QUESTIONABLE ❓️❓️❓️
Supporting Tinubu "as a Yoruba man' is not about"completing federal projects" or his competency because what has he achieved in almost 4 years except plunging Nigeria into extreme poverty , suffering and spiralling insecurity.
