President Trump Threatens To Demolish Kennedy Centre

US President Donald Trump on Friday September 18, 2026 vowed to demolish the Kennedy Centre after a court ordered his name removed from the building. He blasted the ruling as illegal and politically motivated, saying that the centre had become “a hostile monument.”


Trump said he was considering tearing it down and rebuilding it from scratch, he also accused Congress of using culture as a weapon against him.
 The Kennedy Centre has not responded to his threat.
