She said society used to push the idea that once a woman reached a certain age, she should quietly step away from the dating scene, and that mindset made many women feel their time for love and partnership had passed.
She says that the confidence is what stands out.
Damilola linked the change to a Bible verse, Psalm 118 verse 22, about the stone the builders rejected becoming the cornerstone.

Damilola Adegbite 41 is known for her role in Tinsel and other projects. She was married to actor Chris Attoh and they share a son.

Those young men that want an already made womenπ
ReplyDeleteI don't even consider those age older, as 30s and 40s are still childbearing age and many women are very youthful looking at those ages. Let the 50s and 60s women talk if these younger men are approaching them with serious intention.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm!!!
ReplyDeleteOld kompo ππ
I can relate, my husband just married me not long ago.
ReplyDeleteI am in my early 40s and he is in early 30s a decade of gap. He is doing well for himself and I am doing well for myself, so it is not about me, been rich while him been poor. He is the best that, I have ever meet and I am a single mother not by choice but by things that I cannot change.
Nothing but the truth Dami. I am a living testimony of this observation. Thank God for God.
ReplyDeleteI am happy she wrote about this topic because I thought about it last night. This is my current reality with younger men.

ReplyDeleteAttention from men and women.
Single and married.
Weird but I've come to expect it and understand it.
