ReplyDeleteDude, everything is a gamble in this life, either you jump in and live or you lock yourself up and live in fear of everything. I will give you kudos for going into an arranged marriage in these times, I don't know many man who would even entertain the idea. Those who dated for years and divorced they are telling ppl not to date too long, those who dated short are telling ppl to take longer time to get to know each other. So what is right? Any approach can still lead to dissolution. The religious folks divorcing sometimes at the same rater as the nonreligious, sin and waywardness having taken over the union. Marriage is a gamble and like all gambling, winning is the best feeling and losing is a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Bro for your loss. It will get better
ReplyDeleteTo a large extent he is right. By dating, you might see weaknesses that you may not be comfortable living with. If in the process of time, nothing changes, you will know that that is how the marriage will be.
ReplyDeleteIf I am to advise young people about dating versus matchmaking, I will always recommend dating above the other.
