Nigerian Govt Trains 150 Enugu Youths in AI And Solar Skills
The Federal Government has launched a two‑week training for 150 youths in Enugu State in Artificial Intelligence, solar installation, and fashion design under the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS).
The programme, coordinated by the Office of the SSA to the President on TVEE, aims to equip young Nigerians with practical skills and starter packs to help them build businesses and escape poverty.
Dr Abiola Arogundade said the initiative reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda, while Governor Peter Mbah’s representative praised the training as a major boost for youth empowerment in the state.
Beneficiaries were selected through an open application process, with the government shifting focus from cash transfers to sustainable skill‑based empowerment.
