The event, held at Langfield Event Centre, Little Rayfield, Jos, brought together Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, political stakeholders and supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi, Tompolo said the vehicles would strengthen the movement’s capacity to engage communities across Plateau State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Pondi described President Tinubu as a courageous reformer whose economic policies, though challenging, were intended to deliver long-term national development, improved infrastructure and increased investment.
He urged the newly inaugurated executives to take their responsibilities seriously and maintain direct engagement with residents at the grassroots.
Governor Mutfwang commended Tompolo for supporting the movement, describing the initiative as a significant contribution to political engagement across Plateau State.
The governor also acknowledged the security and economic challenges confronting the state, while expressing confidence in ongoing federal interventions aimed at restoring peace and improving infrastructure.
APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda highlighted the Federal Government’s security interventions in troubled communities, including Bokkos and Riyom, as well as ongoing and proposed road projects across Plateau State.
The inauguration marked another stage in the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s nationwide expansion, with the 25 vehicles expected to support its activities across the state’s local government areas, wards and communities.
