The AdaImo 2012 HRM Chiamaka Jennifer Njoku ,has called on Nigerians to be original in everything they are doing and in every concept they are Promoting .
The Mbaise born winner of the AdaImo 2012 Crown made this call in a Television Interview with Mr Isaac Chinagorom, an Imo indigene who represented Nigeria at the 1984 world Disco Championship in far away London and came home with the Ecotrophy .
Her majesty insisted that people should discourage hijacking of other peoples intellectual material and making them seem as if it was their idea originally so they would be remembered for their original Innovations
Her majesty pointed out that Isaac Chinagoroms Successes at the championship could be attributed to the original dancesteps he performed at the dance championships , this distinguished him from other contestants .
Mr Isaac in his words thanked the Adandiigbo organizations for concepting the idea of Igbo beauty pageants for the young Igbo girls and hoped it would positively build the Igbo maidens to keep their language and culture in their minds .He said he learnt his dance steps from the traditional dances in his hometown Umuozu. He claims the tight rope dance and canoe dance steps as used today were his original dance steps and it contributed to his performance at the dance Championships .
It would be recalled that the Adandiigbo cultural Pageants has been and remained the organizers of the Most Beautiful Igbo girl cultural pageants with Crowns like The Adandiigbo , Ulundiigbo AdaImo, AdaAnambra AdaEnugu AdaEbonyi and Adadelta .The Chairman of the Pageant Mazi MacRobinson Anele , the Imo Born business mogul described the Pageant as his teams efforts to keep the Igbo Flag Flying and keeping our youths interested in the Igbo Culture .The Adandiigbo pageant has been rotated over the whole Igbo states on an annual basis but kicked off in Owerri in the year 2005.Forms for Adandiigbo pageant are only available at www.Adandiigbo.com
The Pageant has subsisted for nine years on private funding ,and is the biggest Private Pageant in Igbo land .Presently the pageant is beaming its visits and interviews of notable and industrious Igbo men and women on Adandiigbo television with Ctl Africa as its major Media Sponsors .The interviews are watched in far away United Kingdom and the rest of Africa .
