Our leaders have failed us in this country. So the solution to all the problems listed is now child marriage? What happened to sex education for crying out loud? I cant believe these are senators? Malala of Pakistan as young as she is (also a muslim), is campaigning for female education, so I don't understand how an adult of the same faith will encourage child marriage. The question is: how will that same child go back to school after you have saddled her with responsibilities(pregnancy, sex, children)that she is not psychologically and physically prepared for? Even adults find it difficult to cope with all those tasks. Yerima should be locked up in jail even if he gives out his own 9year old daughter in early marriage. He is a child molester. What is wrong is wrong and should be punishable by law. Nobody should be above the law in this country. Other countries are advancing in science and technology but we are advancing in child sex and marriages. Don't these senators travel abroad? of course they do, but I wonder why they cannot just learn from advanced countries. They should bow their heads in shame. If you read a lot you will realize that most girls that are promiscuous started having sex at an early age as opposed to their counterparts.
