    3. Anon. July 21 2013 at 10:05am,
I go by the name "Rubynnia". Thanks!

Lol @ "fearful and fearless". I've been reading about it online. I didn't really pay much attention when they were answering the questions and when the winner was announced but people felt Miss Imo should have won.

I still think she answered her question well except for the "fearful and fearless" statement(that's if she wasn't preinformed of the questions).

What do y'all expect from home advantage?

  7. Ben Murray Bruce, d owner of Silver bird d organisers of MBGN is from Bayelsa & also likes girls a lot.Y won't miss bayelsa win? They hosted to win.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I watched d stupid show and I must say that Silverbird has no integrity!
They carefully eliminated 17 contestants, saying that d decision was made, based on d results of d judges' personal encounters with each of the contestants, bringing d no. 2 15 and then 4 no reason reduced d no. to 5 and made sure they included Bayelsa, why?
Ok I calmed down when I saw d likes of Adamawa and one other state dat deserved 2 win but what l8r happened? D crown went 2 Bayelsa instead of Adamawa who answered her questions better than d rest and also more beautiful, composed and elegant. can u imagine?
Any girl that spends her money and energy 2 contest in MBGN and hopes to win without having a master who would beat the ojoro drum behind d scenes 4 her, is sitting on a darn long thing!

    2. My dear u just spoke my mind!!! They were highly disorganised! Can u imagine how they embarrased miss abia?? After calling her out as one of the 15 finalists, they told her to go back that it was a mistake!!! I was really impressed with the yoruba contestants this year!! Most yoruba states usually parade ugly chics, but this year,it was different, but that doesn't change the fact that most yoruba gals are ugly! I was so shocked that ogun and ondo didn't reach the fiftenen finals, those gals really made sense!! There was a lot of backyard runs abeg!! Among the five finalists, miss imo or miss adamawa should have won if they were fair!! Imo is cute, adamawa is intelligent!! It was obvious miss bayelsa and miss abuja knew their questions beforehand!! Miss abuja obviously crammed hers, that was why she messed up!!! This was just an stupid pageant!!mbgn is really beginning to lose its high quality... Am sure lots of those chics sold their pussies!!! The winner was already known even before the pageant begun!!!!mtcheeew

    3. My dear have you observerd that any one who win best traditional takes the crown. They did it with Sylvia Nduka, Isabella Ayuk and now Ebiere. When they gave her best traditional I suspected something of this nature wanted to happen again but I waved it off not believing that MBGN can be so stupid as to make the whole thing so obvious but I was wrong or should I say right.

    4. U are a goat for calling Yoruba girls ugly...insecure twat! I am Yoruba, and you need to see the way I look, you can't match it...tribalistic cow! All that's is left for you yo do is to start mooing like a bleeping cow!

  9. The girl is really pretty! But I wonder y miss Ogun and Osun were not in the top 5!it was obviously arranged cos ms abuja who got to top 5,was asked about tourist sites visited while in camp. She stumbled, fumbled and gave up after 3 attempts!it was clear she practised dat answer but couldn't deliver cos she forgot the last paragraph!I shame come even pity her! Then the most hilarious of it all was wen Beyelsa Governor appointed the Queen his special assistant on tourism and culture!hehehehe straight to Govt house! The gov wife just dey perplexed staring @ her husband on stage! To marry Oga @ the top no easy o!Wonder what her first assignment is...starting tonight.if u connect any dots u re on ur own!Signed:wide eyed!

  22. Lol MBGN 2013 is very free n fair jos like nigeria's election. I pity silverbird group, who are dey deceiving? Mtsheeew dat miss bayelsa is not even supppose to be among d top 5 + she didn't ansa intelligently. Miss Imo is even beta. No wonder we don't get to c our nigerian delegate to miss world after d intro of d contestant becos of all dis rubbish. fullstop miss beyelsea doesn't ve d charisma, d body, height n lots more.

  24. Painfully watched the entire contest and mehn...was I disappointed? No doubt Miss Bayelsa is a beauty and answered her questions well but then IMHO Miss Adamawa sure fared better, her elegance and composure especially when answering her questions were top notch, even Miss Imo who was later 'sneaked in' did better answers wise(her gown though,an eyesore)...Anyways,na them host,na dem win, money no loss...Hehehehe

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm highly disapointed with mbgn, everything I watched was staged and annoying. This is the same reason why other countries are better than us when it comes to making something real and truthful. Bayelsa was not a coincidence, everything was planned. I would have gone for miss lagos and miss ekiti#classic and elegant ladies that exhibit the traits of a beauty queen.guess nigerian won't win miss world this year again.

This pageant is a joke! I started losing interest in MBGN since the time of Silva Nduka. She didn't answer her questions properly just like Miss Abuja did and ended up being the winner.

I was thinking maybe the same thing would happen to Miss Abuja since na silifabed mode of operation.

  71. Going through the comments by Nigerians, I am shocked by the hatred, anger, immaturity and not to mention, racist attitudes of Nigerians. I did not watch the show but from the what I gathered, the winner is not only pretty but clearly very intelligent and compared to the other delegates, very composed and exposed. The organisers themselves seem to know what they are doing and who they are looking for- you forget that the MBGN has produced excellent beauty queens over the years- Toyin Raji, Agbani Darego, Chinenye Ochuba, Anita Uwagbale, Adaeze Igwe, Omawumi Akinnifesi, all of whom performed extremely well at Miss World. Beauty is simply not enough these days- personality, intelligence and charity works are very important too.

There are 230 ethnic groups in Nigeria. Anon 30 can very well be from Niger or Edo or Cross river or Bauchi or of course Ebonyi or Ogbomosho etc... but you just singled us out and decided he MUST be Igbo. That an obsession.

You also made 2 other mistakes. One, Igbo girls are not only beautiful facially and with lighter skin texture as you said BUT they are physically very beautiful and feminine too. Check out Ezinne Akudo or make a move into the SS and SS and see for yourself.

    N° 2: Anon 30 is not a girl. He's a boy or a man. Re-read him again.
