Passenger Dies Aboard United Airlines Flight!

THIS IS AN EXCLUSIVE AND THE AIRLINE IS YET TO RELEASE THIS INFO TO THE PRESS.....they probably will after this report hits the net.

Yesterday the unbelieveable happened on board the United Airlines. The plane was scheduled to arrive the US from Nigeria but was unavoidably delayed midway due to the sudden death of a passenger that was on board the craft.

They departed Lagos-Nigeria last night at about 11pm the USA. But a passenger, a man who was unidentified by my sources on board the flight, was said to have died on board.

Due to the unfortunate incident the plane was diverted for an emergency landing at Dakar where the body was properly wrapped and kept in the toilet of the plane to avoid immediate decomposition or any foul smell for the remaining of the journey.

The United Airlines plane was reported to have finally arrived at its destination just a few hours ago, after a very long delay. my source maintains that details of the cause of death and the identity of the passenger is still unknown
and the shocked passengers have all dispersed to their destinations.
Please if you know anyone who is male on that flight last night, start making calls oooo!

*very sad news indeed*

Post edited......The flight was Houston bound.

What will happen to his corpse?

  2. Hi Stella, United flies to Houston Texas from Lagos, Nigeria while Delta flies from Lagos to Atlanta Georgia. You need to verify the facts of this story and be sure the plane was actually a United Airlines plane bound for Atlanta. Cheers.

    1. U are just one sorry case of an insensitive being. So u find humor in another person's predicament? I wonder why Stella approved this comment. This is grossly pathetic. I want to curse u deeply. But will just pass on it.

  10. Ok this may be non relative to this post but Stella, please I would like to know your readers views about a predicament which I term to be as dicy as standing between the Devil and the deep blue sea. Or however way the saying goes.

    The situation here is this.

A childhood friend of mine who's very dear to my heart just lost her sister a couple of weeks ago in the U.S. And we have since buried her. I actually traveled to the U.S to ensure that the burial was properly coordinated and befitting for her. As my friend, who by the way lives in Nigeria, couldn't attend the burial because her visa was delayed.

Anyhow, the deceased and my friend have a younger brother and an aged mother who's in her 70s. In recent years their mom has not been enjoying the best of her health. Consequently and due to their mother's ill health, no one has been able to break the news of her daughter's demise to her. As she was just in her late 30s before she passed on.
I personally along others suggested that she shouldn't be told at all. As I imagine it will break her completely or she may even die as a result of the rude shock, being that her health hasn't been good. And I still maintain my stance even as I write this. But I would also like to hear from your readers (outsiders), their position on this will go a long way. Knowing that those of us who are close to the family are more likely to suggest all sorts because we are pained and are sensitive towards the matter.

So, dear SDK readers, I humbly request your candid opinion on the matter. May God bless you all. And thanks to you Stella for the platform.

    1. That is a wrong thing to do. Are you planning to keep the news from her forever? That means you plan for her to die soon. That's bound to hurt her more if she finds out.

The poor woman deserves to know. Its her daughter, not yours. The earlier she knows, the earlier she starts getting closure and healing.

My mum once hid such news from her grandfather and regrets it todate. The man found out and was angry with all the secret hoarders.

    2. Its not your call. Its her Doctor's call to determine if she would be able to handle the news or not.

You have no right whatsoever to hide the truth from the mother. You all overstepped your boundaries by burying her daughter without informing her. Did you even seek the family elders' opinion? I will be surprised they agreed with this naughty plan.

Let the family and religious elders break the news to her.

    3. Hmmm, unless the family is ready to bury another corpse, they should save the woman the agony and grief. The day my grandma was told of her son's death ie my dad, the old woman has been in another world and keeps thinking d man will be coming to visit her as usual. Its a pity but it is what it is.

    4. In as much as this news is kept away from her, u guys are killing her slowly, cos no matter how long u keep it away from her, she'll continue to have that feeling that something is wrong with her child but might not tell anyone. I'm saying this from experience. Let her know abt it, it won't kill her except if its her time.

Isn't it normal that when u correct someone they should take to it? Are u going to get a diamond plaque for spotting an error and pointing out first, but then expect that it is left as an error for proof so that u can be applauded? Same with the FOOL up there making noise about d person who said Euston instead of Houston. Jeeeezzzzz toddlers have invaded ur blog stella. We need to sanitize this blog pronto!!

  17. I am sorry for your loss and that of your friend. Her soul rest in peace.
I understand your POV, but she has to be told sooner or later.
It is the job for the elders not youths. Find an elderly cleric to pass the message to her wisely and get a doctor to be ready to treat her for shock and hbp.
    Best of luck.

  20. There is Euston in london(a very busy station).Mrs Zulu made an inadvertent error and she has made amends. Must we make mountain out of mole hills.Stella, pls do a post about superiority complex amongst nigerians. For example, those living in america believe they are superior to those in europe(UK especially),while those in europe believe that back home in nigeria eat from the bin.Not to end it,those in nigeria that are well off think those abroad are toilet cleaners. This is from my experience and interactions with people in US being the most guilty.
