    1. Eyyah Shan George sorry about d loss of ur properties. Oluwa a fi ofo ra emi. Amin. Dear SDKers, pls let's do something about the Rape issue shared on this blog on Sunday. Right now, Olakunle Koleoso (the custom officer)has ran off Facebook. That's guilt in my own opinion. So let's not stop at that. Search for everyone bearing that name Koleoso (Eni bi omo oran nii pon) the man with a troublesome child carries him. So let's make sure that he knows that he has murdered sleep. Also, Olowoyeye is still on FB, but its like he is not a regular user. Let's make sure that their friends all hear abt what they did. UNTIL they either publicly denounce/deny the act. Or they feel what it means to be humiliated! Shalom.

  9. Typical Nigerians. They don't even know their rights, everything is a blessing! Armed robbers coming in to steal your stuff because of insecurity in your country. Leaders are stealing the money meant to solve all these problems. It is a blessing! Smh. Stella, ypu live abroad but looks like you stay indoors and don't mix! Your thinking surprises me ( no insult)

    3. Jimmycatering services, please spare us that living abroad talk.My house in Birmingham was burgled while everybody was away at work. We are still hoping west midlands police will eventually nab these burglars. If you read daily mail/metro,there is no day that break ins and violent crime is not being reported. You are not living in eldorado whether it is UK,Europe or America when it comes to crime.Eni kan lomo o.

    4. i wonder o! Where is it wriiten that one shall be robbed and that the robbers are a blessing to the robbed? Abeg, make una tell me!!! Robbers will rob abd rape someone and u say it is a blessing, blessing bawo? Anyone who is robbed in the physical has been robbed in the spiritual already. She needs to go and check it not all dis blessing rubbish. Please, God doean't bless like that abeg. He is the restorer. Robbers don't spare anyone's likfe, God does. Peeps shud get their claims together

    5. Anon 8:43 he did not say that robberies don't happen in other places. It's the average Nigerian's mentality that is faulty. Blessing ko blessing ni. It's almost like people apply that Yoruba proverb ile oba to jona ewa lo bu si. As if the robbery is an episode of some celestial soap opera and the robbery indicates that better things are coming. Why did u call the police for your Birmingham robbery? No be blessing?

    7. Madam Birmingham, the difference is if the burglars are caught they will be persecuted and jailed. Trust me the police in UK will make an effort to find them, can we say the same about Nigeria? When we want to compare, please let's use logic (don't let me say common sense)

    8. Nigerian politicians are having a ball. The mass populace believe everything that happens is spiritual or is a blessing! They will continue to rob us blind!

    9. Jimmycateringservices, you speak so much in condescending manner. Did I say in my first reply to you that robbery is a blessing? I just don't get it when most people in diaspora put up this impression that they are insulated from crimes. My wife(there goes your calling me "madam birmingham" in a put down tone) was attacked by some crazy yobs at the Palisades close to Bull ring in the full glare of the public.I was in Flatbush Brooklyn some couple of years back, the crime and violence there is chilling to the bones.Crime goes on all over the world, the only difference is that some countries are well advanced in resolution and justice. However, the deed is done already.

    10. Where did I say crime doesn't happen all over the world? The difference is nobody calls it a blessing and does nothing about it which is the case in Nigeria, apologies for being rude sir!i

  19. it's a wrong choice of words. its not a blessing and its definitely not d moment to talk about d good of it. if u still insist it is, then may this kind of blessing come your way.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Shan, whatever they stole is replaceable.
you should be thankful they didn't hurt or even sexually abuse you.

where there is life, every other thing is secondary.

    ReplyDelete
  21. that's the grace trust in God affords believers. You know that whatever happens to you is by God's purpose. you may not understand it but you accept it. you call it a blessing in disguise because u know God wouldnt do you bad..the end point in all is for good, even though you can neither see that good or understand the purpose..evil can be used to build you up spiritually, to even increase u in a better way and to open doors of opportunity..

So yes, it is a blessing...because it could have been worse. And God will use it for a better and greater end..

  27. It's not a blessing to have your stuff stolen, to have your car ripped apart, and it is certainly not a blessing to have strangers rifling through your personal effects and invading your privacy. But it is a blessing you, nor anybody else were harmed or kidnapped in this ordeal. You will live to work and replace what has been stolen, and maybe even move to a different locale.
