This is a hella lie! The oldest person in d world is Jeanne Calment from france and she's jes 122 years. Even tho some of our oldies don't know their real age, dz is a big fat lie!

He probably hid his soul in a crafty,fast and hard to kill animal(animals like;porcupine,chameleons,cheetahs etc),so they will live as long as the animal lives....well so I heard!this traditionalists do dat a lot esp amongst d royals,so they will live long on the throne!

DeleteThe age I saw on my grandma's burial program couldn't be true. It just didn't add up with my dad's age. Well, she claimed that was her age, the family humoured her went with it.
Stella it is true o. I watched a documentary about him last year. Even his grand kids don die finish when d man dey alive. He had started to see the future sef. He told the media crew that went to meet him that he knew 3 days ahead that they were coming. He even said they got lost at some point and stopped to eat pounded yam at a buka. The crew said it is so true. The man turn to orisa finish. He even said when he's bored he asks God to take him home.

DeleteThere is one I knew(dunno if she's dead now sha),the woman don old sotey almost all her children nd grandchildren don die. She no dey wear cloth again sef,they carry her outside say like 11 'clock make she take small breeze + sun and take her inside arnd noon on daily basis. Saw her last 2013 christmas.

Na them sabi jare, I think her age was guessed though. I know she witnessed several civil wars and lost 5 of her children. My dad just lost his elder brother and he was way over 90 years, my dad's sister is in her 80's so I kinda believe her age. That being said, they maybe wrong.

Lmao @GBR somebody. He's old mayne. My grandma was 120 too n very agile till the last 10yrs. Long life is cool if one is strong nt to put ur children under so much stress of Bathing, changing diapers. They practically become babies again.

This is actually true..i am from the village next to Iloro and we happen to be discussing this same issue with one of his son's last week friday, somewhere in Abuja....He is the oldest reigning monarch in the entire yoruba land..He is about 170years old.
