Veteran Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has joined the league of other entertainers currently eyeing various political offices.
The star Actor is seeking to represent Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal
Constituency at the National Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).He made his intention known during a media parley on Wednesday.
Okonkwo who rose to stardom with movie 'living in bondage' is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State and also Masters degree holder in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Kenneth, with his declaration, has joined other entertainers who had earlier declared to run for different offices in their respective states. They include; Kate Henshaw, Kenny Saint Best, 9ice,Tony Tetula, Julius Agwu, and Bob Manuel.
This is becoming embarrassing.

ReplyDeleteLol! The men in his family are clowns..His broda has been vying for Governorship for ages.. As if they don't know their family is an Osu family and can neva rule over the freeborns.. Chai tradition na bastard.. No matter how much we claim to be Christians we still hold on to bad traditions..
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, please, behave like you're mentally sound & be careful with such sensitive issues.
DeletePlease ooooo this is totally uncalled for. Mbadinuju is an Osu and he was governor of Anambra. That's why great brains like Prof Barth Nnaji won't be allowed t govern. Big shame if you ask me. Looking 4ward to the time when this osu, ohu would be wiped offf TOTALLY from Igbo land.
DeleteIf we say you guys are descendants of Gorillas you'll be cursing. How can you label sound minds like Barth Nnaji and co outcasts. Thank God white men colonise us o,you would have still be in animal skin and leaves now.
DeleteHian what brought osu to the matter?

Aunty stella no vex make i waste space.
nollywood is extending its wings gradually. politicians are good actors and now a good actor is joining politics??? aaaaaahhh d only tin tht will save his people is if hes trully sincere frm heart. ANDY OKEKE deliver ooo. oh sorry kenneth okonkwo. i wish u all d best. any film u appear is always worth d watchn. nollywood and its viewers will miss u greatly.
ReplyDeleteActually amongst all of 'em entertainers romancing politics, he is the only one close to being qualified sef. The day I listened to him as a guest on one AIT talkshow, he gained my respect that day, I couldn't believe it was him speaking with so much knowledge and making intelligent suggestions in regards our crumbled political situation in naija. But then again, am not vouching for anyone cos the moment they step in there, they catch the 'corruption flu'. Gudluck to him tho. Plss someone should advice Tony Tetula to pls face his work and get it right before flashing his coloured agbero hair in our faces.
ReplyDeleteHaaahaaahaaa!!! You are not funny but crazy!!! Meanwhile I like Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo, he's intellectually alert, wishing him best of luck!! But he would have started @ State House of Assembly shaa to build up people's support.
DeleteLol. Whatever happened to kaycee. Linda's aloba?
ReplyDeleteWell, i wish him whatever he wished himself, the present govt has succeeded in making governance and politics a caricature am waiting to hear more nollywood actors and actresses coming out to declare.
