A Cry For Justice Regarding Mr Anthony Meribe In Detention Since 2009 Without Bail.

ATTENTION

THE GOVERNOR OF IMO STATE ROCHAS OKOROCHA
HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS NIGERIA
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

UPDATE ON UNLAWFUL DETENTION OF MR ANTHONY MERIBE FROM UMUOMA ONICHA EZINIHITTE MBAISE SINCE 2009.

My family was contacted by PUNCH regarding the case and details was given them. Our lawyer was contacted by Punch and he asked them not to publish anything, that he should be given sometime until the next court date which is in NOVEMBER!!! To get my father released but this is the same story every time!

My family and I do not HAVE that time to WAIT anymore. We have waited 6years for him without getting my father bailed on a crime he is wrongly accused of committing with NO evidence or a single Witness.

We have written to Human Rights Organisation Nigeria Garki Abuja to please intervene on this case because this is injustice of the highest order. We also want PUNCH to go ahead and publish the story and also any other Newspaper in Nigeria who is willing to help us.

Every week my family visits my father in prison costs us money for this past 6years. We have spent a lot in this case. Right now my father is terribly ill in prison and has been referred to a hospital for proper checkup, which we still have to pay for.

My father is requesting for a visit in prison from his WIFE who is in MORTUARY presently.

How do we tell him she's no MORE?

I am shaking typing this because I have LOST my Soulmate, My Heart is Shattered.  Please we don't want to lose both parents same time, so we are pleading with good citizens of Nigeria To please help us, we need OUR father released and so we can tell him and then bury our mother.

We also want EVERY SINGLE person involved in this setup punished by the law.

WE WANT JUSTICE.

WE CRY OUT FOR JUSTICE.

We can be reached on this number 07061646917 or my email address jennysmith10@live.co.uk

Jennifer Brown

Please anybody who can help this family get Justice, please help them!

According to them, every time the case comes up since 2009,there is no evidence,no witnesses and the case file keeps vanishing and they keep asking for bribe to make the case file available at the next hearing and it doesnt happen despite all the monies paid.

Somebody should use this case to prove that the law works in Nigeria !

I pray your family finds justice

They should release the man even if it is just to bury his wife. How long will the kids keep lying to him about their mother.

    6. Why would your lawyer ask that Punch not publish the news????? Shouldn't he be happy the case will get the much needed publicity after so long a time??? I wish this was in Lagos State. Is it that no one has alerted Rochas about this? Very unusual.

  4. First step is to change your lawyer.
    He's been compromised.
Infact, you need to write a petition against him to the Nigerian Bar Association.

Where all the human right NGOs'
Have you contacted the radio programme you were advised to get in touch with?

These are the kind of stories that make you lose hope in this country.

  5. Aww, I feel like crying for them. Jennifer and family, it is well with your soul. God of Daniel will come to be your judge. It is not about who laugh much but who laugh last. I believe that your attempt to publicize this will regain him freedom. If your father is innocent, God will use his case to probe that he is still on the throne. Ndo Nnem

  26. Jude Obiukwu was the one who helped you in Newcastle United
Kingdom, feed and clothed you when you where hiding illegally from Home office.

He is not a BASTARD! We know he very well, He is one with exceptional
character, not; a robber, cultist, armed robber or Kidnapper.

If I were Jude I will sue you for deformation of character.

Concerning your father’s case, Everybody in Onicha Mbaise is
very aware of what happened. The autopsy result revealed that Mr Godwin Obiukwu
died as result of excessive bleeding from multiple injury resulting from broken
Tibia (Lower leg) caused by heavy impact that broke the bone. There was no
    gunshot of any kind.

The question is; who are those tugs that accompanied your
father and brother to fight and break Godwin’s leg with Iron bar that later
    lead to his death.

Only the truth shall set you free!

  27. It is surprising how people read post and start passing judgement not knowing the genesis of the story.
This Jennifer that posted this is known to be defrauding men, marrying almost every two to three years and leaving the man after she must have collected enough money for her family and she calls another person criminal. Anyway, God is the only just judge. Her father committed this murder with her brother and two tugs that Jennifer paid for. Now she can't cope and she took to chat rooms, newspapers and blogs, but she cannot find help in any of this medium. Nigeria Police is bad, Court is that but what is your family? She better go and bury her mother as the woman never wish her father well. Her mother thought their father would die first because he is in ATM but she wasn't God.
"He who goes to equity must go with clean hands" period.
