According to her statement, the couple got married and he soon started spending long stretches of time in Europe sometimes almost two years at a stretch.
He would come home for about a month and then return abroad. She said she was left in Nigeria handling everything alone, living like a single mother while still married. She put her acting career aside to focus on building a home and raising their family. Later she discovered he had been involved with his ex-girlfriend, named Anita, who she described as his side chick. Chiamaka said her husband had promised Anita marriage even after he married her, and that he processed a visa for Anita to join him in Europe. The first visa attempt was denied and another was being planned.
She also claimed the same woman was invited to their house to plait their daughter’s hair. A friend of Anita’s reportedly felt sorry for Chiamaka after seeing how she praised her husband online, traced her, and sent a video. The video allegedly shows items from Anita’s place, including what looks like spiritual materials, a photo linked to the husband, and Anita’s international passport.
Chiamaka wrote that she can no longer continue in the marriage. She said it is painful but she is choosing herself and her peace. She added that she gave the marriage her best and is now done.
