Bimbo Akintola Says That She Is Not Looking For A Husband

Bimbo Akintola is an actor that is no doubt very beautiful and sexy, but her single status has remained a mystery to her fans. But she doesn’t seem bothered about not finding a husband. The actress who is in her 40s has always stated that she is not looking for a husband and cannot be pressurized into marriage.

She says '' It is high time Nigerians start getting things right. As for criticisms, I ignore them so much''

In an interview with Vanguard a while ago, she said, “I’m not looking for a husband and I don’t need one. I don’t need anything. I’m a complete person. I only do things that make me happy, because I believe and I understand the reality that there is just one life and you should live it to the maximum. Happiness and peace should be the key.

I’m not searching for a husband, because the rumour that I’m searching for a husband has given me Wahala,- all kinds of people from left, right and centre, looking for me saying they want to marry me.
Please, I’m using this opportunity to tell everybody, I am not looking for a husband!”.

*LMAO...Abeg they should leave her alone, marriage is not by force. How will you even convince her that marriage is sweet when divorce and breaking up cases is almost at a 100percent.

    1. The bible never made marriage compulsory. It says if you can't be alone marry. As she said she is complete and can be alone so she is good. Read your bible before talking

    2. Which part of the bible? Overzealous much. You should see my face right now. Mtsheeewww

      Delete
    3. First read 1 corinthians 7 1-16

Secondly please use words when needed. *overzealous* has nothing to do with this. Its just simple fact you gain when you read your bible

      Delete
    4. I don't know wether you commenters are arguing for or against anything but what I know is that Anon 15:43 is very correct. I read my bible too.....

“Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment. For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”
      ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7:1-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
      http://bible.com/114/1co.7.1-9.nkjv

I think some of these comments should be geared towards cheating husbands, aristo's and the likes instead of disturbing ladies who chose not to marry. It isn't compulsory. You should be confirming the bible to the various married men and women who are sleeping around instead.

So yeah, she may love to remain single. Only her knows the reason.

  13. She sounds bitter. Ms Akintola, we all need companionship. A husband is a companion and it's Gods purpose for us to have one. You sure need a husband! No matter how satisfied u are as a person u need someone to call ur own. U need someone u care about and a person who also cares about u. U do need one who doesn't anyway.

    1. I agree with you dear! All that 'I am not looking for a husband thingy' are just defence mechanism and self denial. She's frustrated and sounds like she is desperately in need of love, care and compassion. She was just being secretive and sarcastic about her feelings.
I hope she isn't depressed though. Because she doesn't sound like someone who doesn't care about her marital status.
      GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

I did nit marry till my mid 30s fir personal reasons and some fools like u were saying I was faking it......am happy in my marriage and they r there begging for kobo kobo with broke arse cheating niggas......lol.....marriage is overrated by you African women that's y u die there.....her life her choice

It's really sad, considering the fact that she is a very good actress(one of the best this country has ever seen) most of us would like to read about what she is upto lately professionally. But these journalists are more interested in her marital status. Why can't one of them just marry her already and let's move on to other things.

  45. German juice stop giving women bad advice. How can you say when a woman clocks 30/31, she shld give up and be a baby mama. What sort of statement is that? Marriage has no age limit, some marry early and some late. God created us with our different destinies. I got married at the age of 35 last year, and just had a beautiful baby boy 2mths ago. It wasn't even planned, got pregnant rite after my trad, before the white wedding. My husband was 40, not a divorcee and no baby mama.
I dated my ex all thru university and he proposed when I was 26, I accepted and did intro. In my heart I knew he wasn't my husband, the slaps and abuse he use to give me will only escalate to beatings during marriage. I broke it off, my mum even cried and friends abused me I will not find anoda husband.
I waited years, but finally he came and I have peace, I know he was my husband ordained from God. When God gives you urs, divorce will never come.
Young ladies don't let such statement deter you, wait for ur time. Not every one is going to marry at 25, doesn't make you less of a woman.

I sometimes begin to think that I should have just put up with any one of those men I let go, despite knowing I would not be happy with them in marriage. Well, I believe God for a godly man with a calm temperament and your testimony has lifted my faith that I will still meet a loving, godly single man without baby mama drama or wahala or anger issues. Forever keeping hope alive. God bless you, Ma'am.
