I am a very conservative Christian and though it seemed all hope was lost, God remembered me and blessed me with a man who has not been married before too. The problem is with my husband, he has Delayed Ejaculation. He doesn't ejaculate when we make love, no matter how long. The Urologist attending to us at National Hospital advised us to Assisted Reproductive Technic (ART).I will be very happy if I'm selected for the treatment. I live in Abuja. God bless you

I've been TTC for 7years of my marriage. I've taken so many concoction including and gone to so many hospitals and places just to conceive, I've never miscarried sef. So tired of everything and everyone asking me how far more especially my inlaws. I've done all necessary tests and everything is OK just God's time. Hubby and I can't Offord ivf and it seems he is tired and wants to give up. Every month when my period is about to Kom he keeps tracking and ends up disappointed once my period comes. My hubby no longer comes home regularly n prefer to sleep 4x a week at his parents, when I talked to him abt it he said at least I dnt av a child yet so y shld he come home regularly since his place of work is closer to his parents. I had a major miscarriage last yr and since den, bin trying n noting. I dnt av a job n my hubby is on commission in his place of work. My inlaws, story for anoda day. Weneva dey see me, esp in public, d kind of prayers dey pray hen, trust yorubas, every sunday, d pastors calls me out to pray for me n in my heart I always feel sad. My mum too has been sad n she almost had a partial stroke last yr wen I misscarried, tanks to God for timely intervention. I live in d house as a single lady despite d fact dat I am married. Whenever my hubby eventually comes home, hian, his eyes is always up, he hardly toks to me cos he feels hes advancing in yrs. I will leave d rest for wen my testimony is full by Gods grace. ReplyDeleteI'd love to enter for my sister who resides in Abj. She'll be 37 in Sept this year and been married for 6 years.
She went through a fibroid operation in 2011 and ever since then, nothing. Doctors say she and hubby are okay medically but nothing has clicked since then. The saddest part is she's been through 3 IVF procedures within a space of 2years and they all failed. The last was late last year and we all hoped it'd work for her but that wasn't to be. I've cried and prayed more times than I can remember but it seems God is far away. However, I'm not stopping till I see her dreams of being a mother come to pass.
On this note, I'm soliciting on her behalf that she wins this. This whole process has taken a toll on them emotionally and financially too and I'm positive that winning this will be a huge relief but most importantly will go a long way in showing her how much she's loved and appreciated regardless.
Don't mean to sound mean but unfortunately your sister is not the BEST candidate for this. She has been thru 3 IVFs already. We have to give another person a chance of success for the 1st time.

I have been ttc for about 5years in marriage, I have been married for 7years, I have a son, when he clock one year and few months, we decided to try again for another child but it was not forth coming, when to general Hospital gbagada for almost two years to do series of test, myself and hubby and nothing was found, I did HSG twice, hubby did sperm count uncountable times. After about a year plus we decided to do artificial insemination, it fail. Afterwards we decided not to go to the hospital again and believe God to do it.

There is fibroid in the center of my womb so I don't know if ivf will be possible,i don't sleep anymore,cant think straight,am so afraid of my tomorrow and to think I love kids so much and now I can't have mine?.am so depressed and at times I wonder if death won't be better cos all the side comments are driving me insane,graduated with 2.1 no job,all my mates in festac whi I got married b4 have kids and wonder what my problem is but I can't tell anyone cos I will surely be used as a discussion topic..imagine a lady told me I looked good last week and one woman said "no be by to fine na to get belle born pikin for your husband",if I had the mind I would have just taken my life that day cos am really tired.the woman who treated someone I know and hers got shrunk is calling an amount that I can't afford and the thing is not so big as at last I went for scan but it grows each day and so at times I don't eat well for days just so it won't get big...tired of ranting jare,i know I don't qualify for the ivf but just decided to pour my sorrow here cos I can't tell anyone physically,looking for the fruit of the womb is the worst thing that can ever happen to a woman!!! To all of us unmarried ladies, may we never experience TTC after marriage In Sha Allah. To all TTC women, may almighty Allah meet you all at your points of needs and turn your sadness and sorrows to joy and happiness. I'm sure Angel beautiful would have a difficult time choosing someone deserving cos everyone needs this. ReplyDeleteHmmmmm God bless this Beautiful Angel...I ve been married for 5years trying to conceive, have series of medical report that show I and hubby is not ok,but 27th March 2015,After seeing my monthly circle,3 days after I started bleeding again with a serious pain which I waz rush to hospital and I was advised to do a scann,it happened that I had Ectopic pregnancy which I never knew I was pregnant. Something we have been expecting since 5years and it happened this way...there I was operated and according to the doctor one of my Tube was remove cause it has been damage. If we have money we would have gone for IVF since, it's ...I don't just know what to see , but let God will be done.Angel Beautiful and stella I pray God uses you two to bless me and make my joy complete. ReplyDeleteIm a 36 years old lady who was diagnosed with fibroid in 2012 and has to do an operation to remove it in 2014. Ever since then, I has been ttc. No luck. So many times I have cried myself to asleep. I'm always depressed and feel im not woman enough. I cant even remember how many times I always wish I can will my period to go back inside me and turn to a baby or the several times I do check my boobs after ovulation to see if it will increases or for an other hopeful sign of pregnancy. No job sef and most times I wonder what to do. Cant remember how many nights that i have cried myself to sleep cos it feels therapeutic. I believe in miracles and I know I will testify on this blog in Jesus name. Ha! I will be d happiest woman on earth if i can get pregnant. It would be a dream come true.

Above all,the person who gets chosen should pray that she comes back here to share her testimony because it it God who gives children. Doctors are just vessels he uses. We have been TTC for more than 4yrs but still looking up to God. We heard about Nisa Premier promo last year but we couldn't come up with the money. It has not been easy on my part being the woman. ReplyDeleteDepressions knows me by name.I'v practically lost interest in everything.Would give anything to experience the joy of carrying my child.We've done tests from one hospital to another but everything seems normal.Its not been easy but I know God is on the throne.I participated in the fast and I believed God and was sure that this is our month,only to wake up this morning to menstrual cramps.I went to church and still praised his name because I know he has better plans for me ahead.I reside in Abuja and hope to be favoured.

Pls, Am 37 and hubby is 45 and we have been married for 8years. I have menstrual disorder and I don't see my meases every month. My last test revealed I had high prolatrin and I was based on drug. Saw it in Febuary and I haven't seen in March and this is April. Even if I don't win, I want to plead if I can be assisted with a good gynaecologist who be affordable and good. My husband has been told to try his luck else where and one lady who was pregnant for him lost it last year. Pls help a sister in need of a year

And for ur question going out of d country believe me I would really want than but calculating ticket prices for I and hubby then accommodation it's way above the promo price. My sister it is well. ReplyDeleteI jointly write this story with my wife in unity of faith that HELP has finally come. We are based in Abeokuta, Ogun state, married since January 2010. At the beginning of the year 2010, it was joy! Joy!! Joy!!! that was heralded by the euphoria of newly weeded couple and the honeymoon in a choice area. One, two, three… nine months after, expectation of getting pregnant and becoming a parent shoot-up, curiosity to see a protruding belly arose from both families and friends, the trauma of infertility sets in, emotional breakdown takes his place, incessant night cry emerge, but HOPE was not lost. Here comes the genesis of our TTC.
After 15 months, Hospitals were visited both private and government facilities included on a regular basis. Different tests and diagnosis were carried out ranging from urine test, blood test, hormonal profile, SFA, Laparascopy, Scrotal USS, HSG etc. with all these procedures, savings is running low in a geometric level. At some points, assets were disposed to meet up with medical bills and medications. We close our eyes to the side effects of some of these procedures, and atimes forget about the incompetency of some the medical personnel, we just focused on achieving our goal -baby.
The results of these tests and diagnosis presents both male and female factor being responsible for this infertility. I went through a surgical operation (varicoselectomy) which was successful; my wife was diagnosed of bi-lateral block tube through HSG done twice in different facility. In a very painful state, hydrotubation was done twice in different hospitals which eventually revealed ‘one patent tube’. With regular menses and ovulation, we are still TTC for the past 6 years with IUI done twice. While age is a factor, IVF was recommended as the lasting solution to this problem. Bank account has dried up, business is not forthcoming, in-laws are giving ultimatum to produce grand-children, families and friends were asking ‘ki lo n sele?’ meaning what is the matter? This question is a heavy weighted one, it comes along with different suggestions ranging from herbal alternatives to trado-medical consultations.
While we keep the hope alive, we believe help is here through this story. I leave you with this; sometimes a curious lad told my wife “my mummy brought out a baby from her belly, when are you going to bring out a baby from your own stomach?” she simply responded ‘very soon’ with a smile. Kindly look into this our ordeal, make the smile permanent and that ‘very soon’ come to pass this year with this your helping hand stretched out to us.

ReplyDeleteWe got married April 2013,I have Pcos and hubby has sperm issues.(motility 15%,count12% cant rembr the mophology now but it's also very low.)we have being to diffrent hospitals and taking several medication (we have all the results and can send to stella for confirmation) but it is all not working.Done 2 intercourse timing they both failed,did 1 iui also failed.Taking several concoction all to no avail.My mum cries evrytime because my big sis who also got married before me is childless,we can't travel home anymore because the stares,gossip and mockery is unbearable.We have gone bankrupt bcos of hospital bills.Just last month our doctor said ivf is our only option left.We don't have the the money.I know there is a balm in gillead.and i believe i have found a helper in ANGEL BEAUTIFUL.I told God i want an anniversary present (27th April is our anniv)and i believe he has sent you with my presnt.I am married to the best man in the world but this issue has caused a strain in our rlsp both emotionally and phsycologically.We are wornout,we have lost happiness and peace of mind.God bless you angel b,evrythin you touch shall turn to gold in jesus name.WE ARE BASED IN ABUJA.

I have been TTC since I got married in 2012. I have PCOS and have tried ovulation induction a number of times with no positive outcome. Recently did HSG and it was discovered I have bilateral tubal occlusion and the only way out is IVF but we cannot afford it at the moment and my HMO does not cover for fertility treatment. I currently reside in Abuja. Please help a sister

I sent a chronicle before about us being jobless and bvs advised that we get jobs to be able to take care of the children first before conceiving. God has blessed my husband with a job and I started a business. We can't afford ivf but we can raise our (soon to be born) kids decently. We've spent all we have on tests. Our family raised money for laparoscopy and ivf (January and March). My mother in law cried when the ivf failed because we can't afford another cycle. My husband is 40 and I'm 25years old. We've been praying to God to provide the funds to do another ivf cycle while I'm still young and my chances are higher. Thank you so much

ReplyDeleteMy story is just too long, permit me to summarise. I have been married for 10 years and turn 36 years in August.my marriage went from lurvy dovey to silence of the lambs . I am a state civil servant and can't afford all this treatments. I have been to hell and back with my mother in law about not having a child. I have gotten pregnant and miscarried 4 times each at 4 months ....... My MIL had made all kinds of concoctions for me to eat and drink until I started falling sick n almost died. I had to tell her it's ok and I can't consume anymore she insulted the hell out of me and cursed the day I got married. Saying I was hopeless and barren and that she ll get another wife for my husband. As I speak now I am tired of crying and honestly can't even fast or pray anymore. I have been to all places of worship Muslim , Christian , traditional or herbal. Well I guess my husband is tired too cos it's one affair or another. This is the 10th year and last chance , if it doesn't happen I plan to ask for a divorce and remain single ......afterAll what's the use of being married and frustrated without a child.
