Job 22v29 "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person".
IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD WE OPERATE differently.
In the world, people say things as they see and hear it; but in the kingdom, we say things as we want them to be.
In Romans, the Bible says, God calleth those things which be not as though they were.Right there, we are shown the character of our God.
And in Ephesians we are told to be imitators of God as dear children.
That is exactly what our text today is all about.
It says when men are cast down. That means it is a time of men being beaten down by circumstances, many beyond their control. Some examples are times of economic crisis, times of recession, times of epidemic.
At such times, we as God’s children are not to be identified with such things. Yes we may be experiencing it at the moment, but then we must not confess it. Confessing it is declaring those things have power over us. It is announcing that we are under the power of such things.
In our text we are asked to confess, declare and prophecy otherwise.
At such time when men are cast down and down trodden, we are to shout, … there is a lifting up.By doing that we are rebelling against the circumstances. We are defiling them.
When they expect us to crash and burn we defile them by soaring. We defile them by prospering. We defile them by staying healthy.
We defile them by being full of Joy.
This defilling begins with our confession. A confession contrary to what we see and hear in the natural. We are not moved or define by what we see, hear, feel, or by our present situation and circumstances. But only by God's word. And it is saying to you today that " when men are cast down, for you, there is a LIFTING UP!
Keep saying it. Keep believing it, then you will have it.
God bless you richly with great grace and many blessings!
