I salute you all...... So i didnt follow up to the end with the fasting but still eating less.....Those of you who stay for long hours without eating, you have a gift and I celebrate you......
I couldnt do it cos i had to make meals at intervals for my hubby and kids and have to always taste and all....You all know what happens in the process of tasting nah...LOL
The body adjusts to the not too much food moments and starting to eat again for some is wahala....
So yesterday i made a small comment in my in house news rantings which i did not go back to correct, I have told you guys that if you see error, please correct with your eyes.....It is not easy to run a Blog and i mean this with a serious face...

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.
One of the major thing motherhood is teaching me is patience. For someone who used to be very impatient I am really learning to calm down. Have you tried walking behind a toddler who insists on walking on a long stairway alone without help from mommy?.
Standing behind this little child as he holds the banister with a wide smile on his face and excitement in his eyes as he proudly shows off his newly acquired skill. All I want to do at this point is rush up the stairs, probably two at a time and drop off the heavy bag I am carrying.
Instead I have to pause and cheer on this little angel and tell him how proud I am of him in the most cheerful voice I can muster while wishing I can just grab him up and make a run for it .
Or the number of times I hear "mommy see" while they repeat the same thing over and over again. The waiting till the last moment you are about to leave the house when you are already running late to announce that they want to wee or poo.
The constant search for a lost toy that you could have sworn was in plain sight few hours ago and now you have to comb through the whole house to find.
There are times I feel so much joy in watching their antics and pander to them. But there are days I just want to pull my hair out in frustration.
In all, its all good and I am learning to be more patient.

LOL..... write a book in your head and you will be fine...If i wirte what i went through eh, i will someone else from having a child.....it was horrible and you know i am abroad without a helper..My hubby tried when he was at home and my mum in law tried the way they do it there but it was all on me....I used to tiptoe around the house so as not to wake them up.....My phone is on silent mode since 18 years plus, i panic when a phone rings loud, its my trauma from what i went through.....Now i watch my Bambinos as tall and fine young men and realise that motherhood and worrying never ends....I am always asking ''' when are you back?:where are you going to? dont drive too fast, dont buy fuel, dont dirty the car,dont drink, dont smoke, if you must use a condom....'''...............

Talking about fasting, it's long I fasted. There was a time I planned three days fasting (dry) nothing entered my mouth for two days straight. I wasn't feeling hungry. I was so praying and locked myself indoor. I was in my early 20' then.
The third day, my mom shouted and told my Dad. They brought food and forced me to eat it around 4pm of the last day. That was how they ruined my three days fasting. At the time, I was a firebrand Christian and belonged to the charismatic movement in the Catholic church. My prayers then were quickly answered, for the level of faith I had then in God is total and unmatched.
Whatever did happen to me I can't say. Maybe the pleasure and mundane things of this world I supposed.
Today, I can't even do 6:12 fasting. I will feel like fainting.
Sometimes, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
