Actress Shaffy Bello Reveals She Still Goes To Local Shops In Balogun Market..

Super Talented Actress Shaffy Bello has revealed that she still goes to Balogun market to shop particularly for ankara fabrics and gifts because she finds it pocket friendly to bless others.

She said"Do you guys know I still go to Balogun, when you see me there, say hello
Sometimes I wanna shop for a lot of people, I wanna give gifts and I don't wanna spend so much, I go there, and I pick out Ankara...things, fabrics just to bless people.
I went into a stall and I saw this (her outfit), this was 38 thousand Naira, do I look cute? Okay now
Let's be real with ourselves here, we can't buy everything that is trendy and think you can save, stop it,the next trend is going to leave, the next trend is going to become an old thing, that thing that you were crazy about, that sunglasses, those shoes, that bad that everybody is carrying now, give it a couple of months, it's about to expire.

Let me teach you something, but things that are classic, so a black bag, a black bag that just looks awesome, so you buy it and wear it, stop showing off when you don't have to".

    1. Actually I had a freind that thought Balogun market was for people that can't afford good clothes meaning the clothes sold there are fake I had to correct that mind set. She eventually followed me there one day and realised she was wrong, infact what you buy in the shops in the US you find in Balogun market especially those America Plaza and all. Balogun market has every quality thing you are looking for even designer bags and shoes at affordable rates. Even Yaba market has good stuff too that people will thing you just landed from Jand. Never despise markets they hide the gold we are looking for on the retail shelves of the Ac shops.

  6. I can’t forget the craze with the first few of iPhones, ppl lined up for days to be the first to get one of those phones and they were true status items them. Nobody would look at those old phones today, nobody line up anymore, and there are so many ppl with iPhones that they are no longer considered a status item. She is 100% correct about the uselessness of following trends.

Live within your means and walk your own path, you will live to see even the greats fall. Consider that there is an entire generation of ppl today who do not know what a Blackberry phone is.

    2. I remember the craze about blackberry too. My immediate elder sister was so jealous I bought it she couldn't hide her envy. Few years later, she posted a picture of her with samsung s2 that her ex boyfriend, who used and dumped her, bought for her. People really believe owning material things that are trendy makes them superior or better than others. They are so empty they have to fill the emptiness with material things. Now all of my elder sisters are using the latest iPhone, me, the youngest and only one who live abroad, I'm just using a simple Samsung A33 even though I can afford an iPhone but I prefer saving and investing for my future and the future of my unborn kids. The funny thing is that my sisters buy these unnecessary material items then come to me for money. I made the mistake to send two of them 1500 euros combined they didn't want to return it claiming I said it was a gift, which it wasn't and I never said that. It turned into a big fight. They insulted me, gossiped about me, mocked me yet when they were asking they were acting all nicely. I decided to let it go but I have made up my mind that if they ever ask me for money again I will tell them, I have but I won't give you, go and use the money I loaned you and you said I gifted you. One of them had cancer few years back and now by the grace of God she is fine. I'm not cursing her but when the cancer comes again and she needs money she shouldn't even try to tell anybody to tell me to help her with the bills. As for the others I know they will still come back to ask for money in few years and I will tell them to go and look elsewhere because even if I have I will never give them a penny. What goes around comes around. So, they think, I am the fool that uses a simple samsung, uses 5 years old clothes and work hard to save for the future of my unborn kids while they are living life beyond their means. Oh and they are also married except one who is divorced, with no kids but she has 2 cars, bought a new house and iwns a school ( that one is a snake, a wold in sheep clothing), with husbands that have good jobs. Their husband built their own houses, they all have shops yet they could ask me for money when Im here alone surviving and working hard to make it. It is well. I have 50.000 euros in my savings account plus investmemts and I'm saving more. I have mortgaged my own house here abroad. And plan to mortgage another one and rent it out. Be wise people. Trends come and go, secure your future and those of your kids and generations to come and never loan money to people without a signed legal contract even or better yet expecially with your family members.

    3. 20:33, some folks only live for the moment. Not even thinking to get a life insurance or savings, just living for the day. Time is precious and youth is fleeting. I hope your sisters make a turnaround before it’s too late.

    5. Anon relax, why would it even occur to you that your sister's cancer should return ? Now you know you cannot trust them with money so do not have any financial transaction with them but plesse don't wish them bad. It is well.

    6. Just tell your sisters you don't have whenever they come to you for money. Don't tell them you have but you will not give them. This can cause hatred.

    7. Anno~20:33, are you talking about your siblings in this manner? Tufiakwa, chukwu wezuga ooo! I give my siblings money everyday or when they need it without even thinking of them paying me back. Don’t you have a bond with them? Are they not your mothers’ children?
